We were hungry for wings and discovered this place on Unilocal, and I’m really glad we did! The place was a little difficult to find because their sign wasn’t lighted, but the parking lot was jammed. The whole interior was full with a huge party but we decided to order anyway. We got 30 mild wings and the buffalo cheese fries. While we waited the owner came out of the kitchen to give us samples of their dry rub wings and another one. The first bite of the«dirty rub» wing convinced us both that we would be coming back. It was amazing. I’d never had a dry rub wing that appealed to me, but this one sold me. All the wings were cooked to perfection and the sauces were delectable. The buffalo cheese fries were also extremely tasty! If you’re anywhere near Peoria you’d be doing yourself a disservice to NOT visit here! Thanks for being such a local treasure, for being so welcoming and for making such wonderful food! We’ll be back!

Ok, I am a native Buffalonian and chicken wings are a passion of mine. I spent 2 decades in the military and have traveled all over the country. I always go out of my way to find wings, sometimes I’m pleased, usually I’m disappointed. These are the best wings I have had outside of Western New York. They are outstanding. If you are in Peoria and like wings and don’t stop by this place you are wrong. I tried another local establishment’s wings last night, and they were abysmal. Would bet a months pay that these are the best wings in town. First and foremost these wings are cooked to perfection!!! Crispy on the outside, moist and juicy inside. This seems like the easiest part of a proper wing, but where 99% of Buffalo wings go astray. Combining the correct chicken(I didn’t ask, but I would wager these were fresh not frozen) with the right oil, temp, and time in the fryer is an art – and these guys are Picasso. The place is clean and well kept, albeit a little hard to find. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. I had both the xxhot and dirty rub wings. The price was cheap, so I was beginning to expect some tiny wings – not so. I ended up ordering way too much and had to get a to-go box(I don’t normally eat left overs, but these were too damn good not to take home). The dry rub was a bit too salty for my taste, but still quite good. The buffalo style xxhot was a bit different than what you would find in Buffalo, but still very good. I like my wings ridiculously hot – these are not – but I will take wings of this quality over stupid hot any day. All told, the sauce and rub I tried were good enough(btw way better than chains like bww and hooters) – but the way these were cooked make the total product excellent. The only«complaint» I have is that the blue cheese dressing kinda sucks. I know the customer base here prefers ranch(as a Buffalonian I find this repulsive practice tantamount to sacrilege… But hey, to each their own I suppose) so it can be excused. I know they don’t move enough to make their own, but if they could get Marie’s it would be a huge step up! I can’t recommend Rumberger’s enough. Hats off to the owner/cooks/staff, this is the first wing place I’ve been to outside of WNY that could survive in Buffalo – congrats!!! I would recommend some Buffalo decorations on the walls, they’ve earned it!

After hearing everyone from work say how good these wings were I decided to stop by and order the wings. These are(were) the best wings I can say I have ever had. Crispy even after the 20 min car ride home. As others have noted I tried the dirty rub and they were really good. Not spicy at all but a great flavor. Highly recommend this place. These guys are definitely playing in Peoria.

First time here last Friday. Wings are great and rum buns are heavenly. Fries are so plentiful they are a waste. Fries are out of the bag… not fresh cut. Service on the other hand was pretty much non existent. Waited almost 30 minutes for food and drinks. Finally asked for rum buns to go as we had already been there an hour. When we left all my clothes smelled of deep fried food. Would go back but wait for food outside.

Kept reading all the 5 star reviews about this place thinking people were exaggerating, and after eating here I would say that all the compliments true! The wings are excellent! The corn bites are tasty little nuggets and the rum buns are sinfully delicious. Bottom line: if you are looking for the best wings in Peoria, come here!

Rarely do I find opportunity to give any business 5 stars, mostly because everyone can easily lack in one area, but excel in others. This is not the case with Rumbergers. The service is outstanding, especially if you deal with the owner. The wings are the best I have ever had(please…don’t bother with BDubs. Please). The prices are absolutely reasonable. The facility is clean and welcoming. IF I had an complaint, it would be that the store front doesn’t really stand out. Its challenging to find the first time, but ya know what… Im not really all that smart, so Ill chalk that downfall up to my own lack. Try the wings. My fav is the dirty dry seasoning, and if you get a chance, ask to meet the owner. You will be glad you did!

Another happy wing woman! Finally got here to taste the best wings in Peoria and the other reviews aren’t lyin’! I got 40 wings for under $ 30 and these were some whoppers! The Hot wings were more like a medium/mild and could’ve been a tad saucier(more like the HoneyGold) but the flavor was DELISH! Crisped up just right too. The HoneyGold were unique and like a cross between honey mustard, buffalo and bbq sauces. I could’ve used a tad more heat with them as they are super mild, that must be where the Dirty rub comes in! They were piping hot and ready right when they said they would be and the facility is clean with plenty of parking. My only plea is for them to be open on Sundays! The official Day of Wings, Sunday football, getting over Saturday’s hangover, dreading work on Monday, Sunday is the THEDAY for these wings!

If you want the best wings in town, go to Rumbergers. Wings are crispy, moist, and the flavors are excellent. Highly recommend Carolina gold and the hot. Prices are excellent and much cheaper than other wing joints. Do yourself a favor and go here when you want wings!

Excellent wings! We weren’t sure which we wanted so they brought us samples of their Dirty Rub and their Honey Gold. I usually like mild or medium and their Mild was truly mild. Next time I’m trying hot. The Honey Gold made me want to lick the foil it was brought out on. Yes. It was that good. Don’t judge. I recommend the Rum Buns. Order the ten piece. They are so worth it!!!

Very very friendly service! And fantastic wings and fries! Prices are also extremely reasonable for what you get! They give you TONS of fries. The only thing wrong with this place is the lack of décor on the walls but other than that I have no complaints! The entire restaurant was very clean as well. I’ll definitely be returning in the future!

The service is great. We got to try a few of the most popular sauces. The dry rub is the best wing flavor I have ever tasted. The honeygold is very good too. Generous portions.

Excellent wings, very nice people, clean as a whistle. Easily the best wings in the Peoria metro area. I get mine extra crispy and they are still moist and tender. This place is definitely in the lunch rotation for me and my friends.
