Like seemingly all the government schools in Illinois, Ridgeview only wants to know two things about your child: what is his birth date and what is his address? Those two items tell them everything they think they need to know to provide an appropriate education for your child. They know that you are assigned to their school and what grade you will be in. It matters not a whit to them that your child might be better served by being in 3rd grade math while in 1st grade writing. Such a notion is offensive to them, and they hate you for suggesting such a thing.
