We sat for 20 minutes after giving the waitress our drink order and no sign of her after that. No one told us anything so disappointed. Will not be going back. They weren’t even busy.

Bacon. sausage and hot links were good, fresh fruit was delicious, eggs were undercooked, rye toast was good quality bread, but hardly toasted and basically just bread, not toast. Restaurant was clean, but the service — from the hostess to the server to the cashier was lackluster and hardly warm and friendly.

I have never had such a bad experience anywhere. First, we waited almost 40 minutes for our food to be served. Once it was, most of it was cold, and mine in particular was completely burnt on one side of the patty melt. One person in my party send his plate back for it being cold, and then I sent mine back as it was burned so bad that I couldn’t bite into it at all. When we did this, the waitress never said a word. No apology, no offer to bring something else. The manager was obviously aware of what was going on because we all received a discount on the food. But not once did she come over and speak to us. She avoided us. And when we went up front to pay, someone asked if the waitress was new, and the manager just simply said«yes.» Now this would explain the bad service, but doesn’t explain the horrible food and the fact that the manager barely acknowledged us even though she knew we were not happy. As many times as I visit Peoria, this is one place we will never visit again.

Not so sure how I feel about that place, our first time. The breakfast we had was ok . I did not like the french toast, to thick and hard. Coffee was not to bad either. Our waitress was ok, a little smile would been great. The price on the other hand I am not a fan of it. The place looked clean!

The service was good, but the food was terrible. We ordered breakfast and the eggs weren’t cooked. The clear membrane in the egg was still visible and they were cold around the yolk. I didn’t say anything to the waitress because I was full from the toast that I ate after I scraped the burnt edges off.

Food was good. I also decided to take advantage of the buy 3 get 3 free muffins. The hostess could have been more welcoming upon entrance. I liked the fact that they work with the nearby hotels so I was able to get a small percentage of a discount. If I was in the area I would return if other options weren’t available.

Service was terrible. If you like hash browns and that’s your go to breakfast item, skip this place. If all you want is pie, and that’s literally it, by all means. Pick one up. Leave everything else.

Excellent, they seat you right away. We were staying @ hotel nearby, convenient to get to. Very pleasant staff, good food, for all 3 meals of the day. Beautiful pies, not only look good, but taste good too! We were down there in March and then I was down there in April. They’re always busy, but you don’t feel rushed to dine. I highly recommend this restaurant. Thanks Perkins :-)

We have been here many times, mostly for breakfast but a few times for dinner as well. It’s a nice coffee shop type place with good service and the food is pretty good. It’s kind of like Denny’s without the extra grease! Their breakfasts are always fresh and filling, their pancakes are light and fluffy and yummy.

Countable and reliable! When our family wants to go out for dinner and can’t decide on a place we know that we can always count of Perkins. Its always clean and has a very welcoming atmosphere. The waiters are always friendly and give great suggestions. They regularly have new items on the menu which is good because we don’t get bored with the menu. They also have a HUGE selection to choose from so you can get what ever you want no matter what you are craving.

We spent the weekend in a nearby motel and ate several breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert there several times. The food was very good on all occasions and got a good amount for the money. In fact, we had to get to go boxes several times as there was too much food. Blueberry pancakes and spinach omelets were exceptional.

I used to come here a lot. They run coupons where you can get free muffins and I would buy a slew of them to take to work. The muffins are really large! They have a wide variety of pies and a varied menu. You can find something fairly healthy or something deep fried, so there is pretty much something for everyone on the menu.

There was a dish here called Grannys Country Omelet(or something to that effect). The first time one of us tried it, he ended up having serious digestive issues for the remainder of the night and the following morning. Figuring it was a fluke, someone else tried it. Again, same horrible results. Then I tried it, thinking I could beat Granny. Unfortunately, no go — she bested me. It became a challenge to see who could outlast Granny the longest. Eventually we figured out eating it was probably not such a great idea and gave up on the Granny Challenge. Let’s just say I’ve retired from the game and do not plan to ever make a comeback. …oh, and my friend once claimed an éclair his mom ate here put her in the hospital. Ouch.
