Great Clips

The general manager of this location is a poor sport and is harassing all the local sports clips stores for marketing their new location on 99^th lake pleasant. It is not illegal to make against your competitors in same area. I understand she is worried sports clips offers better service and environment, but still is not a reason to call sports clips locations and harass them very un professional and I don’t recommend you support her location.

I had Vera cut my hair today and I am very happy with the result. Everyone there was super friendly and everything was clean. The best part was when I called ahead to see what the wait time was and the girl who answered the phone told me about checking in online. You don’t have to make an appointment or anything, just check in online or through their app and you can skip the waiting! I walked in and got seated right away even though there were a few people waiting! I will definitely return next time I get my hair cut. I am very pleased with Great Clips!

Alyssa did I great job of cutting my hair, very good communication and listening about what I wanted. I need to get back in actually it was some months ago. (They had an annual sale or something going?) I just haven’t found the time when she is there and I’m always hesitant to try someone new (anywhere). You can’t beat the cost I used to be a Toni and Guy customer among others so it’s nice to find somewhere that’s at a lower budget. Personally I got a same day appt. and was in and out fairly quickly for that. Note: As someone else who earns commission with tips in a different industry I try to tip in accordance with the prices at «higher end» salons. Not by 20% of the Great Clips Price because um personally I’d like to not lose a good stylist to another place that pays them more. It’s just better for me in the long run that way, so if you need a selfish reason to tip properly I hope that’s it. I say this even though I think it should be obvious because I saw someone else tip like 15% of the sale price, I mean seriously??? I hope that’s rare, I really do.

This place is always slower than cold syrup. It seems that this is more of a local social club than hair cut joint. Today a lady came in and said that she had a 1:00 appointment (it was 1:10) and went in front of me after I had been waiting 25 minutes. Then a lady came in and said a 40 minute wait was too long and asked to make an appointment tomorrow. She was told that they don’t make appointments, it is first come first served. Really?

Betty is awesome! She cuts my young boys hair and does a perfect job. I recently decided to have her cut my hair after paying to much at overpriced salons. She did a wonderful job!
