Crossroads Books & Coffee

I had the white mocha caribou which was orange peel with chocolate in my coffee and a white chocolate foam. I was skeptical at first but it ended up being excellent. Reminded me of those chocolates shaped as oranges that peel + coffee beans infused haha. Pretty good! And great service, super friendly! No complaints.

Had an iced dirty chai for 1^st & Not the last time. So delicious & perfectly made. Thank you for the suggestion! Band was setting up & place was busier than I expected at 6pm.

I live right down the street from Crossroads and love it every time I go! Quiet and comfortable atmosphere and a great place to meet up with friends for homework or bible studies. Every single person on staff is friendly and the coffee is great! Definitely one of my favorite spots.

I just need to say that when it comes to coffee houses… Crossroads has the nicest crew in town. Coffee is great… When ever I’m close i stop in…

The Coffee here is extremely good. Their best drink is the white carbo and I would highly recommend it. Their cold brew coffee is also really good. The owner is really friendly and easy to talk too. The owner is also really knowledge about his product and well informed about coffee. This is a must try coffee shop.

I discovered this amazing coffee shop in August or September 2012. I had gone with my brother and a friend and I fell in love. It’s a book store and coffee shop combined. The owners Justin and Kylie are both so sweet. They’re Christians which I love and the store is Christian based. Their coffee is fresh and imported frequently. Their teas are organic. They offer flavors you can’t find at Starbucks. My favorite flavors are almond and Irish crème. They also have Italian sodas. They help support so many organizations. I also love that they play Christian music. Crossroads also has food for gluten free eaters. All around it’s a great place. Yummy coffee. Very spacious for studying. Great music. And very friendly. I have come to know many of the baristas there and I love them. :)

I was in Phoenix for the weekend and forgot my laptop at home in Tucson. Had to wrap up preparation on my sermon and this was the perfect spot. I had a great french press coffee and found two great reference books to help me study. The owner encouraged me in my work and I got a lot of our done.

I don’t drink coffee. Atmosphere is great. Gluten free options for snacks and pastries. Great book selection and most importantly that actually offer great customer service. Great place to grab a book and relax to read or hang out with friends. Highly recommend it

The BEST coffee in town! And the great part is that it doesn’t have all the bad chemicals in it like other well-​known coffee shops.
They also carry some vegan & gluten-​free pastries!
A family owned business, they’re extremely friendly & a very comfortable environment!

This is such a friendly store. They go out of their way to help. If they don’t carry it they will try to find it. Always helpful and kind.
I love to see the people in the coffee shop visiting, playing games, knitting, crocheting, whatever they are doing I have found myself just watching them. It is such a sweet sight.
They have a great used book section also.
Buy a book and a coffee and sit down in a comfy chair and enjoy!

As an Arizona newbie, this place was instantly my new favorite local spot! Even though it’s pricey (the only reason I gave this place 4 stars instead of 5) i am there constantly because the coffee is outstanding and the atmosphere is perfect for studying/​reading/​relaxing.
Try the french press with orange — it’s fantastic. The staff is always extremely friendly and helpful, and their drink recommendations never disappoint. I’ve been a bookstore customer as well, and again, very friendly and helpful staff. Great prices in the bookstore, too (better than the coffee shop).
I’ve read other reviews that say this shop is very pushy with the Christian theme, and I have to disagree. I had no idea the café was Christian-​themed until I discovered the bookstore (which is an actual Christian bookstore and not trying to masquerade as something else). The café is just a café unless you pick out the finer points — something you don’t notice until you go looking for it. My guess is they must have toned it down a little compared to the past. So don’t avoid this café based on the theme. The coffee, service, and ambiance are too good to miss!

Good coffee, great service. I always get the Caribou (an orange mocha). It’s super yummy, and I don’t think you can get it anywhere else!

Super christian. Mocha was ok. Iced coffee was overpriced. The books are all christian or used romance novels. Apparently Duck Dynasty is acceptable christian propaganda. Must be all the gay hating.

Friendly staff, great tasting drink (tried their signature Caribou drink-​iced with white mocha and fresh orange peels), seems to have good used book prices as well!

Absolutely amazing customer service from Karen working in the book section. I ran in quickly looking for a book for my son and unfortunately they didnt have it in stock and I need it today. She said let me see if another store has it. I was under the impression this was a local small biz with only 1 location. After a few minutes I realized she was calling a Barnes and Noble. I asked if that was their parent company and she responded no, they have no affiliation she just wanted to help me out.
I couldnt have been more excited and impressed to recieve that level of pure customer service and having someone simply put the customer first. So impressed! Well done Crossroads, I will refer plenty of business here for coffee, studying, and new/​used books!

Great coffee, gluten free pastry options, good ambiance with one HUGE caveat… Its Christian themed! The whole damned place! Not just subtly so. Not Sunday school with grammy so. Its a very preachy creationist temple of religious idolatry.
Cool for very religious types buuut it does make it a lil uncomfortable to chill here.

This place is AMAZING! They are always friendly and have a great variety of drinks! I’d rather come here than go to Starbucks. Thank you Crossroads Books & Coffee for providing delicious coffee! I highly recommend this place.

Nice place. Very friendly people working there! I didn’t get a feel for the «typical» environment as they were hosting an event. Great place to meet-​up with friends, study, work, or play chess or some other game.
I only glanced around the bookstore (for fear I would buy more books, which I do NOT need at the moment). Very well organized, bright, and clean.
It’s not located along routes I normally travel, but I’d venture here again.

I love this place! I have been here a few times, and the gentleman that normally makes my coffee is very kind. I love the Caribou. They infuse orange with the coffee and it is delicious.
I have also stopped here to get a gift for a first communion. The gift shop is well kept and everyone was helpful. They asked what I was looking for, and when I said «jewelry for a fashionable little girl,» I had multiple employees suggesting items for me. Thank you for the help!
