Brasky’s Bar & Grill

Often overlooked and forgotten by many, this is one of my favorite places to eat in Peoria. Fairly typical menu despite a few specific creations like the Brasky’s Burger. I haven’t ate anything here that wasn’t good! Live music on Friday night, tv’s, good beer selection, nice location. If you haven’t tried it, you are missing out!

Walking in Brasky’s is a pretty nice and clean sports bar. Nice Big bar also has video slots if that’s your thing. With five tables of people eating and a few people at the bar i was a little worried only seeing one person working (Michelle). Well she more then got both serving and bar tending down while keeping all her customers happy (i know this cause every table complimented her when they went to leave).
First off the wife and I ordered potato skins w/​out onion and they are some of the best around a nice crispy potato skin filled with bacon and cheese with sour cream on the side very good and a must try if you like Potato skins. My wife got the Fried Catfish with waffle fries and coleslaw. The coleslaw was meh and a little to over powering on the onion. The Waffle Fries were amazing giant, crispy, and seasoned well these are a must have. The Catfish my wife says is one of the best she has had in a while the breading was crispy packed with flavor it the fish it’s self was cooked well and very flavorful. I ordered Brasky’s Burger which is Deep-​fried patty with Apple Wood smoked bacon and three kinds of cheeses: American, Swiss & Pepper Jack, served on a toasted bun with Sweet Potato fries. The sweet potato fries were ok they didn’t come with any seasoning on them so nothing special. The Burger’s bun was the worst part of this lunch cause i read Toasted Bun but what i got was a unbuttered maybe 5sec toasted bun off a flattop grill because the cook forgot to put it down. The Burger as a whole was dry and a little bland. Our Total bill was $ 36.00 so a little pricey but they do have a lunch menu we just didn’t order from it. I will give this place a second chance because my wife really liked it, the Potato Skins are Bang’in, and Michelle was great. A solid 3 stars with a few tweaks to some menu items would have them at and easy 4 stars

I frequented this joint nearly every Monday for years to take part in the trivia night.
I’m a creature of habit so I have only tried a few of their menu selections, but all have been good. Buffalo chicken sandwich, tenderloin, and chicken fingers have all been good. sandwiches are served with a side and I always chose waffle fries. A full bar and various beers to satisfy.
Prices are below expectation and Ambiance is strip mall beer joint. The trivia and friendly staff keep me coming back…

I have been there many times. It could be a great place. They have some great staff, and some very sad staff! When you go there, you never know what you will get! There are great staff that have been there for awhile and others that seem like a revolving door! Roll the dice and see what you will get!!!

I had a basic cheeseburger + sweet potato fries which were fine.
A couple of my friends ordered burgers, apparently they were pretty good.
We had a good time here, atmosphere is nothing special
However, the bartender/​server was super attentive and awesome!

We stop in regularly, and we’ve never had poor service, though we tend to go at off hours. Veggie burger and turkey burger are very good. New owner is very attentive. We even had a retirement party there, & everyone, including the drop-​in patrons, had a good time. Food is average bar food but reliable and good. Good neighborhood place!

Went for lunch during the week. The food was good but the service was bad to say the least. We waited 25 minutes for our food and on your lunch hour that’s just not acceptable.

Standard bar food, and the service wasn’t great. The nachos had pretty standard canned cheese and were soggy. Okay for a drink but not a great place to dine.

I don’t know what with the food in this place but everything I eat I just a piece of heaven !!! This potato nachos are the best thing that have happened to me. The braskys burger simply delicious.
The staff is the best ! Those 3 bartenders are the stars of the place.
Great place to grab a beer watch some games or listen to a band while having a delicious meal.

Brasky’s Bar and Grill offers a great variety of great food, amazing drinks, and a weekend live music night life environment to match any big city! The place isn’t very big, by at the same time feels very cozy. Drink and food specials are available weekly! The venue offers live music every weekend as well as Karaōke once a month! Great place to take the family during the day or for dinner, and an even better place to take a date from 9P.M. On!

I’m not usually a big fan of sports bars but my son brought me here for a lunch since they have a GREAT veggie burger, and that they do!!! The toppings of lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and onion were NOT stingy in the least!

Used to be good has gone down hill within the last year. I was in there around 10 pm on saterday and watch the bartender she did many shots and had nothing together.

This place has incredible service, food, and selections of beer, wine and spirits. Brasky’s is always clean and comfortable. Popular time after work and during games. Good place for kids. This place has everything! Keep it up Brasky’s!

Been going to Braskys for a couple years. The new owner has done so much more to the place. New menu items all the time. The food is much improved! Great music every weekend. New gaming machines. Very friendly environment!

We went early Friday night they weren’t very busy when we got there. They only had one waitress to cover the whole restaurant. She was also mixing drinks behind the bar. We ordered potato nachos that took what seemed forever to get. They were pretty good, tried the calamari fries they were cooked fine but they tasted like a fish stick. I will probably go back again to try some different food. I hope the service is better next time.

Stopped in several times. Good standard fare that I enjoy while watching a football game.

Madison did a terrible job. We wanted to come out with friends, listen to live music, and enjoy a little drinking but that was far from what happened. It’s too bad the service was so poor because the food was actually pretty good. It wasn’t too busy and it could have been a great way to spend a Friday night had it not been for one person and her lack of caring.

Deep fried burger is yummy and big enough for two :)

Great Lunch Specials and good service also a great place to stop on Hump Day for every beer you purchase you get 5 free wings.

This bar is right near my friend’s apartment, so we did our late-​night Tuesday drinking here! The bartender made a surprisingly good cosmopolitan! Strong and tasty and beautiful looking in its martini glass. We managed to get control of the jukebox as there was a pretty small crowd, so we played some awesome tunes. I don’t remember the prices but I know they were cheap drinks — compared to Chicago, anyway. Not really a super fun vibe on a Tuesday, but they make a surprisingly decent drink.
