This shop went above and beyond to fix my fiancé’s frames. This was the second time they had broken in the past year, but they were expensive frames that she really liked, so it was important to her to keep them in tact. Last time they broke, we went to a shop near downtown, and while their work was good, it obviously didn’t hold up. This time, we were pretty much resigned to them being unfixable. They were pretty damaged. I went to All American expecting to be told they couldn’t be repaired, but not only did they repair them, but they went the extra mile to keep the original frame completely in tact(rather than replacing the sides with a similar color). Since it was such a tough job, they even made sure their most experienced repairer worked on them. My fiancé was thrilled, and so was I! I highly recommend their work.

Broke my glasses yesterday and they fixed them for me same day for a very reasonable price. The guy at the counter explained what they were going to do and was very friendly. I love supporting local family owned businesses and this one is definitely at the top of the list.

I purchased frames & transitional lens from Lenscrafters last year and this year when the left lens started peeling on the outer side, near the frame, I was told they could not be repaired, nor could they removed the coatings. However, an employee at Lenscrafters recommended this company. I was overjoyed of the possibility because I have been wearing transitions and regular poly lens for years and NEVER, ever, had any of the coatings on any of my lens peel, flake or bubble. I keep all my glasses. I called All American Eyeglass Repair and explained the situation, and was told by a male employee the coating could be removed and I could drop them off for repair. I was also cautioned that it could take a while for the chemicals to thoroughly soak off the coatings. I replied, I’m not in rush, but I just want the coatings removed so I can wear the glasses again. When I dropped the glasses off, I noticed nothing out of the ordinary as the display cased advertised all sunglasses. I did notice no display of fees for service, phones ringing, or other patrons. I asked the man I spoke with earlier about the len repair procedure and what ever other services the company performed. He explained the coating removal but referred me to their youtube channel. That should’ve been a red flag but hey, what company doesn’t want to direct traffic to their social media sites? He then told me they would call me when the glasses were ready and I would be charged $ 40 at pick up. A week later, no call, so I decided to inquire on the status. A woman answered, and asked for my name when I stated my purpose for calling. The woman said they are ready for pick up and I replied I would be there before closing. As before, the store was very quiet, no other customers, no ring phones. A woman greeted me and I advised I was there to pick up my glasses. I put my money on the counter as I was prepared to pay because I was so certain my glasses would be coating free. My left lens appeared to be exactly as it was when I dropped it off, the coating peeled even moreso, leaving a larger section of the lens near the frame visibly bare. I was in disbelief. I asked what happened and the lady took my glasses from me and began to clean them with a cloth as if they were repaired, and insisted that they can’t remove the hard coating. I’ve been wearing glasses for over 20 years and there’s no way you’re able to remove the coating from one lens and the other lens looks the same as when they arrived. I replied this possibility was never mentioned in any of the conversations about this repair. Then she asked who called me to pick them up, I just stared her and respond no one. I mean, she was clearly the woman I spoke with 30 minutes prior to picking up the glasses. Again I remarked, there was never a mention of a «hard coating» at the point of drop off and from what I know about transitional lens its coating is within the lens, not on top. The top coatings are Anti glare/reflective, etc. The entire time, my tone, verbiage was always professional, never loud or obnoxious. The woman suddenly exclaimed, just take them and retreated to the back room. Leaving me alone and dumbfounded by the rudeness. In my most professional voice I parted with, that was so rude and unprofessional. I was willing to pay you something for the labor but rudeness gets you nothing. In this case this company earned my first ever Unilocal. So very unfortunate it was negative

Don’t bother, can replace a screw and that’s about it. Waste of time! How can a lens be scratched below the surface of the non-scratch surface?

My favorite glasses that I have had for years broke… the single bar that hold each Lens together broke in the middle. The glasses marchon are made of titanium. I called LensCrafters where i had purchased them and was referred to all American Eyeglass repair #106…I called and was advised they were closing in an hour But if I got there before they closed she would try to repair that day… I went and Nina did a fantastic job of soldering a new piece and made them better than new. I was very happy and the price was reasonable. Highly recommended Frank…San Diego/Glendale az
