Good old home cooking. Prices are great. Food is delish, service is great. The worst about this place is sometimes you have to wait for a table

Have eaten here for many years. The food is awesome. Crispy hashbrowns, and huge sausage links! The biscuits and gravy are really good. Carry out through the week. On the weekends, they won’t do carry out over the phone, you have to go in and order to do carry out which imo is stupid.

Things i like about Gebby’s…the carafe of coffee they put on the table for you so you never have to wait on a refill, the service is very friendly, and the food is prepared quick for you. Now the things i didnt like about Gebby’s…the sausage gravy tasted like it was made from a powder mix, the hashbrowns i ordered crispy and they were far from it. When other people ordered them and never requested for theirs to be crispy they were. I also thought they were kind of greasy. So many places now can get theirs done without having them so oily tasting. The eggs and toast was good but i like my bacon crispier. I just expected more from this place. Great service but average food!

This place is awesome. Great food, and is the only restaurant my husband will stand in line and wait for seating. Best breakfast ever. Yes you have to wait for a table. The décor is basic diner, and is a bit noisy but no one cares. The food makes up for it. Forgot to take pictures of the food, inhaled it so quick when it arrived

I love Gebby’s! The staff is super friendly and the food is wonderful. It’s a favorite spot to go with my best friend for a cup of coffee and catching up with each other. Sometimes we have to wait a wile for a table but it’s worth it every time!

If you’re looking for the best greasy spoon and the friendliest owner in town, you found it. The coffee is great! Country breakfast with biscuits and gravy are great! Just a warning, the wait is expected, so don’t get antsy.

Gebby’s is my go to breakfast in town. Biscuits and gravy are best around. The gravy really makes it. Coffee is always flowing. Even the smell of the place makes you hungry. The food isn’t unique, eggs, potatoes, bacon/sausage, etc. But the service, the manager always there(man doesn’t sleep), the consistency of the food, it is all awesome. If you go on a weekend, you will be waiting for a table. We have a standing Friday morning meeting there. I actually get up extra early just to go for breakfast and to catch up with friends. Angie the waitress is awesome and brings us our drinks before we even sit down. Go. Just go. Then go back. Again. Best diner around.

Ive been here 5 times now over the last couple years. Pretty good breakfast. Nice casual atmosphere. Local favorite, most Sundays and Saturdays there is a short wait. Doesn’t live up to the hype. Staff is nice. Food is good, but nothing special. Same menu items you would find at any greasy spoon. Eggs, bacon, toast, ect. Most times I order eggs sunny side up, the whites are under done. Kind of snotty in texture. Could cook a bit longer covered. Other than that, everything else is pretty good. They do have Awesome! biscuits and gravy. Cooked well with very good seasoning. One of the best I have ever had. Its nothing to rave about, but its not bad either. I would go back agian.

Been in this town most of my life and I don’t think I’ve ever been here before. I’ll have to make up time I see. I’m not a big fan of breakfasts out. Too much, too filling, too expensive, but this came with the perk of meeting up with friends, so off I went. We had coffee and menus in a snap, good coffee. The menu is tried and true, simple and fairly predictable. But, it’s been here so long it had what people want most. Make your own breakfast skillets, about a dozen combos with eggs and sides, note, no substitutions. But everything is available ala carte. We had combos of eggs, real eggs, toasts, apple butter, grits, steak, crispy hash browns, real bacon, normal thickness, none of that super thin junk, bacon like you’d have at home. Not over done and not soggy, pretty darn good. We were stuffed. The grits come with brown sugar but I asked for that on the side, I’m a butter, salt, pepper, and or cheesy grits kinda girl. I wish I could say how good they were, but they weren’t that great. But they were the only thing I won’t repeat soon. I usually make my final opinion about breakfast joints based on eggs-benes. I didn’t have that today so I’ll have to go back, right? If the«Eggs benes» are as good as the bacon and hashbrowns… yummy, I’ll be improving the rating. This place hasn’t been here forever without reason.

This is my first visit, I ordered the Everyday Breakfast with biscuits and gravy. Everyone kept raving about the biscuits and gravy and they were pretty good. They had a little sweeter flavor which is different is a nice change from the usual bland flavor of biscuits and gravy. The service is good, food came out really fast too. Overall the food and dining experience is mediocre and your average mill hole in the wall look with good food.

I ate here last time i was in Peoria. I always hear people talkin bout it on facebook so 1 morning i decided to give it a try. Soon as we came in we were seated immediately and our waiter got us some coffee. Coffee was good as we ordered our food our waiter was real cool and helped me order my several dishes without over paying and getting the biggest bang for my buck. I have definitely found my breakfast spot when im in the P.

Great ‘diner’ style breakfast. Get the build your own skillet. The hash browns rule, get em with onions. Service is quick & friendly.

This is pretty much your standard greasy spoon for breakfast. Eggs, bacon, sausage, toast and potatoes. Service is good.

Greasy, salty, fattening– Belly up to the trough you fatties, this is your place. Even the«Lite Breakfast» has eggs, sausage and potatoes. Service is OK– coffee is abundant.
