Great little downtown open market with local produce and vendors. You’ll find a little bit of everything from homemade honey to homemade soap. Look for the sweet ladies who make the yummy cinnamon rolls. Family oriented. Bring the kids or pets. A nice way to start your Saturday morning.

I was really surprised on how big it was. I did not expect it to be as long as Palafox. Great selection of everything you can imagine. There is a great mix of art and fresh produce. I also was impressed with the amount of food that was available to eat while you shopped. This a great market to come to every Saturday!

Small market with a few good vendors. Why 2 stars? There are signs posted everywhere that state NOPETS and yet I counted at least half dozen dogs yesterday, one of which was relieving itself next to a vendor. YUCK. The people in charge need to enforce this.

Loved it! So many vendors, everything that we tried was delicious. We spent spent over 2 hours looking at the beautiful arts and crafts. Our children also loved it, they were able to sample all of the yummy foods. I love this market!

I loved the Market so much I became a vendor! So many items you can’t find anywhere else. Fresh Everything! Oh, the smells of pastry, popcorn, and fresh, coffee! Just a walk away from downtown restaurants & shops too. Come on down and bring friends for a great experience.

I think the Palafox Market is a place that all Pensacolians should visit at least once in their lifetime. The Palafox Market features a fairly expansive selection of locally made goods. There is two sections to the market — one for foods items, and a section for homemade toiletries and trinkets. The market is located in the median on Palafox Place. You may have to search a while for a parking spot along Palafox because of the popularity of the market. My wife and I have made it a habit to visit the market every weekend now to stock up on our supplies. Our favorite stands has to be the produce, honey, and homemade soap stands. The Palafox Market is now our major source of Christmas gifts every year — be sure to drop by around the holidays for very unique Christmas gifts.

Palafox Market operates Saturday mornings in the median park area of Palafox Street, spanning three blocks just north of Garden Street. Parking is available along the street near the market area, as well as in a lot on the west side of Palafox Street. The market offers a variety of seasonal farm-fresh produce, home-made and home-baked foods, as well as handicrafts. My favorite stops are: Keen’s Beans Organic Coffee Roasters; Farm Girl Produce, featuring fresh whole milk, cream and Kefir; and Miller Family Aquaponics. Be sure to arrive early for the best selection of fresh produce — choice items go quickly! Advertised hours are 8am-2pm, although activity slows down approaching the noon hour. Shop local for a healthy life.

I stopped by this market yesterday while I was in town. I can’t say that it’s a great thing if you’re traveling, but if you lived here I think it would be pretty cool. There were nice fruit and vegetables, some tasty looking jellies and jams, and some good looking potted plants(even some bonsai). There were some other artsy things too, metal sculptures and paintings mainly, and a few other random things(saw some dorayaki — an asian confectionary). It’s a fairly small market, but it is right downtown and there is free parking in the courthouse parking lot.
