Located in the shopping Plaza near Michael’s. This was the first painting place I’ve ever been to and I enjoyed myself. The rooms are filled with artwork. They have a website that gives details about the painting to be drawn and they have themes too like star wars. You can have parties there too, a girl celebrated her birthday while I was there. They do try to group you with you friends if you make it known when you sign up. They had about 4 tables that held 3 people each. The tables are already set up with the paint you will need on paper plates, easel and paintboard, cup of water and brushes. It’s a BYOB place. The 2 instructors were really nice, attentive, patient, and helpful. We painted a cosmo. You don’t feel rushed, lots of laughter as people got tipsy. Just fun all around. Good girls night out. At the end you take your beautiful artwork home. They also had other rooms where classes were being held.

I had a blast at Painting with a Twist. We made reservations for a friend’s birthday party. We booked the two hour session on a Saturday night. This wasn’t my first time at a place like this. I went to Cheers to Art in Cincinnati when I lived in Ohio and that was great fun. Cheers to Art did have a liquor license so they provided their own wine. Painting with a Twist is BYOW but they do provide snacks and everything else you need to paint. Our host/instructor for the night was hilarious. I look forward to doing this again!

Painting with a twist was exactly the fun environment I was looking for. My friends and I signed up for the couples paint night with no painting experience. The relaxed atmosphere and helpful guidance of the instructors made the night one to definitely do again. Painting and wine is a classic date that not many people have tried – to their own loss. In 3 hours I created a masterpiece and had a great time doing it. Everybody is learning with you and the«if it looks bad just drink more» mentality made a possibly embarrassing display of my artistic skills, an exciting date night story and definite future repeat.

I’m getting old. How do I know? 10 years ago a fun Friday night out would consist of short tight dress, high heel shoes, and dropping it low all night in the club. Now, a fun night out is a box of wine, flip flops, and a paint brush & canvas. I’ve never had so much fun with a group of strangers that didn’t involve Vaseline. Painting with a Twist puts the«art» in party(that’s their slogan not mine) 3 hour class went by super fast, our instructor Shelby was really upbeat and fun and made you feel that even though your painting looked like $hit, it was still a masterpiece. You can freestyle and do your own thing, or follow what’s being taught. Bring you own booze, snacks and everything else is provided for you like the art supplies, canvas, paint. They also provide you with aprons(wear something you don’t mind getting dirty) and good music to paint to. Our class was $ 45 a person for 3 hours, but the 3 hours went by quick. Adult friendly, and You can do private parties and they also have 2 hour classes during the day as well. I think my painting came out better than the Mona Lisa and I’m currently thinking of selling it at auction for Sotheby’s. Cant wait to go back!!!

5 Stars for Painting with a Twist! I’m not sure if I am just being more lenient with my reviews, but I have noticed that I have been giving a lot of 5 star reviews. Well, I KNOW that PWAT earned this rating today. With one child in college, and one being constantly out of the house, my wife and I have been suffering a little from«Empty Nest Syndrome». Since we have this new-ish freedom of not having to deal with our kids all the time, we thought that now would be a good time for a date night. We immediately told each other that we were not going to eat out, but we wanted to do something more unique. Well, Painting With a Twist was definitely unique. We happened to find a coupon on Dealchicken, which we snagged right away. My wife and I are both math and science people, so you can tell right away that we are not at all«artsy» at all. Our coworkers assured us that we did not have to be good at art to have a good time at Painting with a Twist, and they were right! Through the process, we messed up a lot. But, our wonderful instructors(Marcey and Ashley) taught us how to fix all of our mistakes and were completely patient with our terrible art skills and disoriented canvases. Thanks to Marcey and Ashley, our paintings turned out awesome at the end of the class. Marcey and Ashley were so patient with us through the entire class and they were just full of energy and kept the class interesting. This is a paint and sip class, so they do allow you to bring beverages and snacks to consume during the class. Overall, we had an awesome time. We will definitely try to make another reservation in the near future.
