L & T Seafood Market

We stopped into L & T Seafood for the first time around December of 2014 and we were pleasantly surprised by the selection of fresh seafood. When we found out that the owner, Tommy, cooks the fresh seafood to order or you can purchase the fresh seafood to take home, we purchased 2 large fried mullet dinners, to go. They were AMAZING to say the least. And, we pay with a credit card every single time and no one has reacted negatively that we weren’t paying in cash.
Our family always looks forward to getting our seafood and preparation supplies from L & T Seafood. This past weekend we purchased 35 lbs of live crawfish and the seasoning packets for the crawfish boil we had for a special family get together and they were so tasty… there wasn’t even one crawfish left.
In our opinion, the prices are very fair and comparable to other seafood markets around town. We choose L & T Seafood Market because the Owner (Tommy) is a good family man that is also dedicated to supplying our community with the best products available. He goes out of his way to take care of his customer’s requests. We have always received great service, excellent quality seafood and supplies for a good price, plus, we don’t have to drive all the way downtown and bother with the crowds that tend to frequent other seafood vendors.
If you are a fan of fresh fried mullet… Tommy will fry you up a mullet dinner that will melt in your mouth. I’ve made myself hungry just thinking about the awesome dinners L & T Seafood can prepare for you. :)

The food was really well cooked. Fried red snapper and mushrooms. It was good, hot, cooked to order fresh.

L & T is the seafood store right beside the Walmart on Hwy 29. A lot of the seafood is more fresh than Joe Patti’s, but as a result, you have to pay the price for it. This place is substantially more expensive than Joe Patti’s even though you are purchasing the same items. Also, the owner seems to not like it when it when you are using credit cards. Another reason that deters me from coming.
