Kyle The Handyman

It’s not every day you find a contractor/​handyman with as much integrity as Kyle has. I called him from out of state and asked him to go check out the damage to my mom’s kitchen ceiling in Pensacola. He was honest, professional, very responsive before and after the job, and sent me a detailed summary once the job was completed. I would definitely use him again. What a nice dude.

I needed a handyman for a job at my moms house so I called Kyle — as he was one of the only handymen with a Unilocal review.
Kyle told me he was fairly booked but asked me to describe what I needed done. Once I did he gave me several cheap easy options for managing the problem — without him coming out and without charging me a dime.
In my opinion, that’s the behavior of a stand up dude, and if I need a handyman in the future, he’s the first one I’ll call.

I’ve used Kyle for several odd jobs around the house over the past few years. He shows up on time, he’s a steady worker who doesn’t milk the clock, and his rates are very fair. He cleans up debris and trash and is respectful of your time and home. Projects he’s completed for us are installing kitchen appliances, hanging curtain rods, minor electrical, caulking and shower repair, etc… There have been times where I’m at the house and we review the list together and there have been times where I just leave the list on the kitchen counter and he goes to the house to complete the work. He’s even told me how to do projects on my own (i.e., what to buy and how to do it) and contacted me when he’s seen other contractors doing strange things at my house – he’s helped me to avoid mishap when other contractors do not know what they’re doing and he’s helped to get things back on track (this is specifically in regard to my sprinkler system). Definitely recommend and I plan to use him again when the tenants move out of my rental.
