Great sushi restaurant always good service sometimes a bit slow but usually when busy. Really no bad complaints here.

Décor was really nice, waitress was very friendly. took a while for food to arrive. I had the teriyaki beef box, the meat was too well done for me, dry and very chewy. besides the meat everything else was perfect.

Best sushi in Pensacola! Places like Atlas are fancy and have good sushi, but this place is just as good for a lot cheaper. The BBQ eel roll is my all time favorite!

Having a trip to Pensacola to visit my cousin. She brought me to this sushi restaurant. I love its look and the music. The food was amazing and was decorated very nice. Waitress is friendly and helpful. If I come back Florida, I will definitely visit again.

It doesn’t matter how good the sushi is when the service is so atrocious. Rude hateful server.

This used to be my favorite sushi place in pensacola! Their sushi is some of the better quality of the area, I love it and the all you can eat! But because of the experience from this last visit, just because of the service I don’t think we will be returning. Myself and two other moms that don’t get out alone very often decided to make the trip to eat out here as we all love sushi(this visit was on Jan 7th). It was around 6:30, we were seated and started marking up our ordering sheet for ayce. All three of us were going to get ayce and share… like we always do. The waitress came and grabbed our drink orders and was already very short with us and spoke very much like she was only half paying attention. When she came back for our order I handed her the one sheet and told her we would all be getting ayce and sharing. You would have thought I spit poison at her. Oh no no no no we don’t do that. I thought she misunderstood so I tried to explain but she kept interrupting my and just saying thats not how it worked. I just told her we would be getting what was all on the one sheet, sharing, and each paying for acye. She replied with, «Your just confusing me I’m going to need you each to fill one out.» We each filled one out quickly splitting up what had been written on the one sheet as we were starving. She asked if we wanted soup, and I asked her if we could do salads but she advised me only soup comes with the ayce. 30 minutes later we had just about finished our drinks and she brought the sushi over, sat it down, and walked away… We didn’t have plates, napkins, soy sauce dishes or chopsticks. I flagged her down and asked for chopsticks but before I could ask for anything else she tossed the wooden(Every other time we have come they have had the nice plastic chopsticks) chopsticks on the table and walked off. I got up and grabbed some of the soy sauce containers off the sushi bar for us. Our drinks had been empty for a while, we had been eating for about a half hour and she still had not come back by our table since the chopstick toss. I flagged down another waitress and asked if we could get some refills at which she smiled and obliged,(this gal was blonde and very friendly and nice wish we had gotten her). When we finished eating our waitress came by and dropped off the checks, all the while acting like we were just causing her so much trouble, so we paid and then stayed in our seats to chat. We were one of two people in the restaurant and it was around 7:40, but she pretty much kept trying to hint for us to get out. She was clearing our table but reaching in front of us like we were in the way, no excuse me, or asking us to hand her stuff. One of my friends had to run to the restroom, when she came back she said that she had noticed while she was sitting in the booth that the lady seemed to be chatting in the hall with some one else right behind us and shooting dirty looks our way. When she came back from the bathroom she overheard some of the conversation of the waitress complaining about us still being here. We didn’t have any drinks for her to refill(not that she would) nor were we ordering or holding up a seat for someone that was waiting. When we finally did leave she didn’t even acknowledge us but the nice blonde waitress and the gal upfront thanked us and told us to have a nice night. This was not some one having a bad day, this was some one being blatantly rude. She didn’t provide any customer service, she was short and rude with us, and she was blatantly throwing us dirty looks and talking bad about us. I get a bad day, but it doesn’t matter what kind of day your having it doesn’t warrant her behavior. I don’t think any kind of coaching can fix some one as disrespectful as that, she should not be working in a customer service environment and we will not be returning because of her no matter how good the sushi is!

Fuji is normally our favorite Japanese restaurant. On New Year’s Eve, we had a horrible experience. The waitress was super rude. The food was small portions, barely any vegetables. The décor looked like they were in middle of a renovation.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I was checking my credit card statement and the waitress took it upon herself to give herself a 40% tip on my takeout order. I highly doubt I am the only person that this has happened to! Don’t use your card there– cash only… otherwise your money is not safe!!!

I can’t give 0 or negative stars? Damn. Well they have the nerve to say u have to order rolls if u pay for the all you can eat nigiri which is beyond retarded considering that I’m paying more for the nigir instead of all u can eat rolls. Yepp that’s right. They told me I had to order equal ratio of rolls to nigiri. Left immediately. Wouldn’t waste my time with this place. Hope they go out of business for bait and switching the all you can eat nigiri. Also no sashimi. Pensacola is a joke when it comes to sushi among other things. The poor pathetic locals probably don’t even know good sushi and have no idea what they’re missing in terms of good sushi bars.

Went for the first time for lunch today. Service was very good, and the sushi was very interesting. The Volcano Roll was covered in meat. I think it could have been spicier, but it was very tasty. I also had a sushi roll made with bacon and cream cheese, and topped with more bacon and served with a maple sauce. I like regular«bait style» sushi, but this was awesome. You can’t go wrong with bacon. I highly suggest at least getting it to split. I will definitely hit this place again as sushi was very reasonably priced, and lunch service was just the right speed. For the other reviewers complaining about their Groupons — you are dinging the wrong business here. Groupon is getting worse every year, and usually only serves to diminish the brands of the businesses they offer Groupons for. Groupon constantly screws up, and in many cases ends up closing other businesses in the process. Do what I did and just unsubscribe from your Groupon emails and your life will be a lot happier — I promise.

I lived in Miami and there was a LOT of good sushi. Coming here, it was hard to find. Truly, this is the best that I’ve come across in Pensacola! It’s my go-to spot. Fresh and a lot of choices.

Food and service is great! My husband and I have dined at FuJi a few times and the hibachi is always delicious. We haven’t tried the sushi. The décor needs to be updated and the place has a fish odor. I try to overlook the details because the service is great and there isn’t any other hibachi joint in Pensacola that compares.

BAITANDSWITCH: Had been eying this place for a couple of months, but had not yet found the motivation to eat here since it’s a bit out of my way. Enter groupon: purchased two $ 15 dollar deals in Dec 2013, knowing that if they sat in my account, I would have to go. I finally got around to making the 35 minute drive here 2 days ago, only to notice a sign on their door saying they were no longer accepting 2014 groupons. «No problem,» I thought, «I purchased these in 2013.» Had a sashimi bento box that was very decent, with a fried cream cheese rangoon that was really really good. But what’s this? My groupon is no good?! From my phone, I showed the server the activity on my groupon account showing I had purchased these last year, but he said that since the EXPIRATION date was a 2014 date, they would no longer accept it… so the only groupon they would accept then, is one that had already expired… I was told to contact groupon for a refund(which I will do), but it’s a real shame I won’t be returning because this establishment is no longer deserving of my business, and it shouldn’t be of yours.

I’ve been going to Fuji for about five years now and I’ve never had a bad experience. It’s a really cute little mom and pop place, there isn’t really anything fancy about it but it’s nice to go to when you want a relaxed atmosphere. The sushi is yummy, the servers are friendly and the prices are fair. You can’t really go wrong. I’ve had two of my birthday parties in the private rooms, they are really fun and make the night feel a bit more special. I would recommend Fuji Sushi whole heartedly!

I came here because there was a Groupon($ 15 for $ 30) despite it only having a three star rating. I like it! All the rolls were great(bacon roll, smelt roe, spicy tuna, fried tofu, miso soup). The service was also surprising. The waitress is super friendly and helpful. I don’t usually give 5 stars unless the place is mind blowing, but this place easily deserves 4 stars. I am already back! At least get the Groupon and try it out.

Good prices but… spent a lot of time waiting for the waiter, they were too heavy handed with the eel sauce, and the spicy rolls weren’t spicy. The food was decent and the prices where good but overall the dining experience was just… meh.

My mom ordered a groupon from here, so I was a little skeptical on how good the sushi would be. I was blown away by the food and the service!!! I highly recommend the tsunami roll!!!

We had high hopes for this place since we love sushi/asian cuisine. The atmosphere seemed interesting when we walked in. we were seated promptly. but then it went downhill from there. It took too long for our waitress to get our drinks. It took FOREVER(45 minutes) for our food to arrive, and we were one of maybe 5 tables. When our food finally arrived, our friend had received the wrong meal, and the rest food was ice cold. the server did not apologize, and said«let me see what i can do» and walked away with an attitude. By the time our friend’s correct food came, we had been done eating for a good 20 minutes, and were all ready to get out. we asked for our checks and the waitress didnt present us with a receipt, which seemed odd because we didnt know what we were getting charged for. One trip to the stinky, old, and unclean bathroom was the icing on the cake. we will never go here again
