Dreamland Skate Center

Dreamland is a good skating rink with tons of additional things to do. The four stars is due to the prices of food items and cost to skate. Both of which can be reduced through groupon usually. The business is clean and the staff courteous. The floor looks to be freshly painted. They also have a decent amount of arcade games, air hockey, and even laser tag. My family had a blast and look forward to going back.

The rink its self was nice and the prices were not bad.
What upset me is not a single person working here looked even the slightest bit happy and were not friendly. Definitely not a welcome, inviting feeling.
The pizza was below mediocre even for a skating rink. Cold and tasted like it had been out for a day or so. The dj does not even acknowledge the kids just has a sign to go online, leaving kids asking to use the phone somewhere I personally go to be electronic free for a little and skate. Some songs played were absolutely unedited and inappropriate for the environment. I am talking strip club music at points and I am not at all an over sheltering parent. Overall it is good for skating, bring an ipod and don’t expect a smile.

First off, they accept cash only but saw the crowd we came in with and told us they would take our card before we even thought about turning around. Cool… the workers were not enthusiastic AT ALL. The guy issuing skates seemed annoyed that we didn’t know the process. It was our first time there. The girl that does announcements took our skates and didn’t say a word. The pizza and drink that came with our raised new year eve admission ticket was a joke. Also, if you have young children who don’t know how to skate and need the rolling rail thing, it’s $ 5 a pop. This was new to us. In DFW, they are complimentary. Next time we will drive a few more miles to Milton. I will never come back again. They need to up their customer service game.

This place is upbeat and fun. There’s always a crowd, which makes it fun, but might just be a little crowded. It’s a great place to have a birthday party. It’s well-​maintained. It has great music and lighting on the rink is awesome.
