I booked 1800packrat for a long distance move. Container drop off, load up side was great. Company truly failed when they confirmed delivery and then didn’t inform me when delays arose… I had to call several times and only then for the information. They were having issues and couldn’t tell me when my container could be delivered… but I could feel free to rent another vehicle, drive over to Pensacola, unload the container, reload it into mine and they would be happy to give me up to $ 250 towards the rental? Meanwhile I am in an empty house! They made several promises but have not delivered on any of them. They promised no added fees, «the quote is what you will see on your bill» but then added $ 160+ to my bill for ’ fuel surcharges’. My container did arrive and the only reason why this gets 2 stars is due to the fabulous delivery guys, Chris and Jason (?) They were very helpful, calling me several times to keep me informed of what was happening. The Managers behind them in North Carolina are not helpful and don’t deliver on promises they made. By the way, they left the container in my driveway for 4 additional days promising a gift card for my inconveniences, still haven’t seen it. Moving again in a year… No way I will use them!!!

We have used pack rat several times and have bee very pleased with the customer service and the storage. Also for the transporting of our contents from Nashville to Foley Al. I would recommend Pack Rat to anyone and have already done so.
