Update 10÷17÷15: This Subway is under new management, as of a few months ago. We haven’t been in to check it out, and may not, since finding out that the Salem Oak Diner makes perfectly yummy subs and we’d rather support them, but this Subway may be all right, now. Give it a try and add your review. //Previous review: This Subway store is okay and somewhat conveniently located, for when we’re not in the mood to drive more than eight miles from home for a sub. I can certainly see why someone from an area with more choices and, in general, more«civilization» would give it the big«meh». Sadly, we are trapped by our geography and even a «quick trip» to Walmart is kind of a big deal. The subs can be inconsistent, depending on who’s making them and(sometimes) whether they recognize you from previous visits and whether or not you tip. You have to pay attention to what’s happening behind the counter and can’t just order and go back to chatting with your friend. Some associates are generous and with some, you have to make a fuss if you want some extra black olives, even though you’re not asking for much of anything else. Times are tough everywhere, but if they’d be more generous with the toppings, the way they used to be, and without our having to twist someone’s arm, we’d go there more often. I love Subway subs, but it can be kind of a chore to actually get a really yummy one. The struggle just takes the fun out of it. Come to think of it, this Subway may want to pay attention to the closure of the Woodstown Subway last year. They were pretty stingy with their toppings, too, even though they had an excellent, easy-to-access location with great visibility from the road. We quit going, and it seems that a lot of other people did, too.
