I stopped in over the weekend and was very disappointed. First, the gentlemen weren’t very interested in being helpful. Then, when I told them what I wanted, they seemed to have no idea what I meant:
«I’m looking for a plastic runner to put over carpet in a high traffic area.»
«Huh?»
“Like a plastic runner rug.”
«I don’t think we have anything like that.»
Then the other guy piped in, «Like what they put under desk chairs? You need to go to Office Max for that.»
How can someone who works in a place that installs and sells carpet not know what I’m talking about. Good thing we have wood floors and don’t plan on putting down carpet (needed the runner for an area rug). Ended up going across the street to find someone more helpful.
