Great soup, apps, and entrees. I had the salmon and it was cooked perfectly. My husband had the crusted filet and it was fabulous. Nice atmosphere with lots of local wines to choose.

Had just a salad but the menu was great. Very friendly service. Great small town local restaurant.

After a long day at the track I asked the hotel staff where to go for something to eat and was pointed here. I had the peperjack smothered chicken and it was amazing. The service was a tad slow but they were pretty busy the night we went there. The banana foster cheesecake was perfect.

This is really just an old bar that also serves food. Two of us dined here on Sunday, May 24. We both really wanted trout(which was on the menu). Server came back to inform that it was no longer offered and should have been taken off menu some time ago. Cocktails were quite good. Large portions. Although starter salad was the dreaded frozen tasting«iceberg» lettuce. Server was very young, very sweet, friendly but inexperienced(she did not know how to open and un-cork the wine-we had to do so). This is really more of a pub food/bar vs. a real restaurant.

The bar menu has tasty basics. I really like the pretzels with queso. The staff is friendly and quick.

Has no atmosphere and is old inside. Hasn’t been remodeled I don’t think ever. The food was good, but a little on the high side especially for the lack of atmosphere. I would still go there, but not often.

We came here in a large group after a day of wine tasting on the lake. I ordered the shrimp scampi. I liked the bed of linguini and Alfredo sauce, however the shrimp were very tough. Clearly a case of over cooking. The garlic for the bread was very interesting. I never saw a bulb of garlic with the top cut off and cooked. The garlic was soft and spreadable on the bread. It was very good.

really gross. We go here once a year and only if we’re desperate. I order fish sandwich. It was a nasty oddly shaped piece of frozen triangle shaped fish. Got the kids spaghetti wish was foul. The 1 meatball had been microwaved way too long and was hard. This place is overpriced and not good.

I got one of the burgers from the menu, it was delicious. I will go back to sit at the bar next time looks like a fair choice of local beers.

If you like SYSCO prepared food, you will like Keuka Restaurant. There is nothing original here. I was going to give 2 stars, but because their wings are really good, I give them 3. ONLY because of wings. I would like to give one more star for a decent burger, but knowing that the burger is also(99% sure) from SYSCO truck, no 3rd star, sorry, sad, but life is tough. Keuka Restaurant is just a regular average place. Friendly staff, good bar, just bring some originality to your kitchen and you will probably start getting more stars from people.

Simple small town classic. Good service. Try the grape vinaigrette on the salad. DJ late night on Fridays!

Average to slightly Above Average. Quaint and appropriately decorated in an old downtown Hotel. Staff friendly and service very quick. Astonished that my Scotch on the Rocks(house brand) was only $ 3, glass of wine only $ 5.50. Varied menu with Pub items, pasta dishes, seafood, and steaks. My wife had Mediterranean Linguine which had an assortment of olives, artichokes, peppers, sun dried tomatoes, in a light white crème sauce. She liked it. I had an end cut Prime Rib which was very tender but had little taste(Au Jus also no taste). It was covered with fried onions which were overpowering, scrapped them off. Sweet Potato fries were good. Also good was the italian bread, served on wood board with butter, dipping oil, and a whole roasted head of garlic. We were not enthralled with the meal, but will go back to try other selections.

It’s a small town classic restaurant/bar trying to be a bigger deal than it is. Don’t go here expecting anything resembling ‘fine dining’, and certainly, don’t bother dressing up for it, either. They charge about $ 4 – 5 more per entrée than you would expect for what it is. Food and service are just passable.

It is what it is. We had come to PY to visit another local eatery only to discover they were closed. We ended up at Keuka. It was decent. They offer a selection of local wines and that’s nice. We’ve started to become more familiar with the local offerings so there was something for everyone. I ordered the Reuben and it was solid. It’s a bar, the décor is dated, the menu isn’t off-the-wall. It’s a solid place and reasonably priced.

I love little downtown eateries that have been there since the beginning of time. But if you want to be funky, you have to deliver on the eats. I have eaten at Kueka twice when I have been in the Penn Yan area. I actually like the 70s bar/restaurant décor. Service was low-key and friendly. Unfortunately, the food selections and preparations are out of the 70s too. Everything is just a little«off» in the flavor category. My burger tasted of the bitter char from the grill. The lobster bisque was too thick with odd seasonings. The smothered potatoes came slathered in both blue cheese and alfredo dressing. This restaurant is just funky enough for one of those restaurant«make over» shows. With just a little more imagination and a good cook, this could be a place you’d go a little out of your way for. For now, this was my last visit.

They cook a steak nicely. Usually serve warm bread and a roasted garluc clove. I like their Cobb Salad and its horseradish dressing.

Pretty much, everything that Don K. says about this place is still true. Don’t go here expecting anything resembling ‘fine dining’, and certainly, don’t bother dressing up for it, either. It’s basically a bar with a restaurant, and they charge about $ 4 – 5 more per entrée than you would expect for what it is. Food and service are just passable. Probably about the limit of what you should expect in a little hick town like this.

We first walked in Lloyd’s across the street for lunch and a customer told us it would take an hour to get a mediocre pizza. We turned around and ended up at Keaka and, boy, was that a great decision. Fantastic service! We all had the prime rib sandwich special and it was great. Being new to the area it was nice to see local wines(at cheap prices) featured. Don’t let the so-so décor get in the way of a good meal with such superior service at a decent price.

Food was meh and the service was terrible. The waitress messed up everyone’s order and the prices on the menu were out of date but she didn’t tell her. In the end, the check had a bunch of hidden add ons.

For our first visit to the Keuka Restaurant we were fairly disappointed. It’s nice inside but it’s missing something… like atmosphere. The walls are light and smooth causing the juke box music on the bar side to be very loud in the restaurant. Also, the tables have advertisements printed right into the top which is odd. On the food side, my Cajun haddock was only lightly spiced and was barely done. My partner’s pasta had a weird texture, like it was microwaved or something. On the other hand the roasted red pepper soup was excellent. All things considered, we’d normally give it a second chance, but the prices were too much for what we got.
