Trapp Family Farm

I hesitate to tell people about this place because I don’t want to get locked out of buying eggs and lettuce from them. Best. And we love seeing the chickens and resident cats. Dozen eggs $ 4.

We have frequented other local farms and CSAs over the years, but Trapp has been the best we’ve found.
The freshness and variety of vegetables available at Trapp’s markets on Tuesdays and Saturdays is outstanding. We absolutely love everything they produce, and Mark and Emily are genuinely great people.
They also offer regular farm tours so you can learn in detail their unique farming practices. This year they added a couple dairy cows, who will hopefully start producing milk in the next couple years. I can’t wait!
This year, we decided to sign up for their «food guild», which is their version of a CSA, except that you get to choose what and how much food you want to take home each week (on Fridays). This is the best value by far.
