Been here a couple times. Dined in and ordered take out. It’s the usual selection of traditional Mexican food. When dining in, the bring minimal bowls of salsa to start off with. The Queso is good, but a tiny bowl. The salsa was a bit hot considering even though I couldn’t stop eating it. The ground beef meals are a bit salty for my taste, but the same quality every time. Service is good. Seating is typical and the food came out pretty fast.

Nothing special. Same old same old. Cannot believe they charge for refills on tea. Did not know that until we payed the bill. That is our last time eating there. Nothing special at all.

So this place is really convenient to get to from our house, so we seem to end up here a lot. The service is always fast and the staff friendly. However the food is not unlike the Americanized Mexican food available at myriad nondescript restaurants everywhere. It’s nice they have live music on a fairly regular basis. We have celebrated Cinco de Gringo there as the beer is cold. If you are hoping for authentic Mexican food look elsewhere. If you want a cheap belly-full of beans, meat and tortillas in some combination — under the mystery sauce — this is your place. At least I can drink beer while there. I am still amazed that there is not a really good Mexican restaurant nearby.

Driving around, having been to the funeral home in Pendleton(hey maybe I should review them), we came across this place. It is in a little strip mall of vairly recnet vintage. Everything was quite good, though the restaurant is a bit cramped. Busboys had a difficult time negotiating the narrow aisles.

Awesome, awesome, awesome place! Great food, great prices, great service! I can’t tell you how much I like this restaurant. I eat often at Real Hacienda in Anderson, and this is pretty much that restaurant with some of the same people who worked at the downtown Anderson location. I’m assuming they are owned by the same people, but I’m not sure. The food is excellent. My favorite is their chicken fajitas. I also like the chicken chimichangas. They have a good children’s menu and both of my daughters, including the picky 13 year old, love to eat there.
