The Green Light

I stopped in here recently expecting to be blown away based on all the other reviews. I was a little put off by the wall separating the juicing area from the front. I’ve never been to a juice bar that didn’t do everything right in front of you. It made me wonder what it is they’re trying to hide? My husband ordered a juice and I ordered a smoothie. My smoothie was essentially a slush which led me to believe they used frozen fruit in my smoothie. Isn’t the point of a juice bar the fresh produce? I had to let it sit for awhile to thaw so I could suck it up through the straw, The staff wasn’t very friendly at all and we sat at the counter for about 5 minutes waiting for someone to stop their prep/​wrap-​up (we came in about 15 minutes before they closed on a Saturday afternoon) and help us. We were disappointed and will stick with our favorite juice bar in Plymouth. My husband said his juice was «okay» so I gave them 3 stars for that.

Love this place! Soups are awesome, salads are fabulous and the people are even nicer!!!

I went to the on in Hingham, MA. It rocks. the smoothie I got from there was GREAT!!! Def going back. Only thing was the menu was a little confusing at first. They could put out some cup sizes just so you can get a idea of the sizes before you order. But the drinks are the best.

I love this place and all the happy, healthy people who work there. My dad is an ice cream addict and after he tried smoothie #1 he totally gets how healthy can be delicious.
The wonderful owner got my dad to try the wheatgrass shot (loved it) and ginger shot (holy cow!).
I asked for a chocolate truffle and instead we got chocolate truffle samples covered in coconut cream, ghaaaa yum!!! We bought a whole tray :-)

Finally something vegan, raw and healthy nearby! I haven’t tried the smoothies yet but they have an excellent cleanse.
I’ve only been to the Duxbury location, but after seeing other reviews for other sites I would say this might be true other locations; although they do a fantastic job (so this isn’t by any means a complaint) I think it’s too much for one person to make drinks, answer clients inquiries, manage the phone AND clean up.
That being said I am SO glad this location opened up! Now I can end my daily walk /​workout on a positive note :)

Why do they block the customers view of the employees juicing? Each juice bar has the same set up with a blocking wall. These days it goes a long way to show the cleanliness of an establishment and it’s employees.

Tried «Raw Daves» #2 at the Pembroke location. SO good! Everything is made to order so expect a long wait in line and after you order. But Totally worth it. Free wi-​fi and tables while u wait. Great juices and smoothie menu. Includes items I don’t have at home. The staff is super kind and offer free samples while u wait if they have extra. This place is the real deal. Highly recommend trying. hours [as of 3 Sept 2014] are mon-​fri 7a-​3p, and sat 8a-​2p.

I had my 1^st fresh wheat grass and ginger shots and they were great! I also had a smoothie which was out of this world! They gave me a couple of sample tastes and I chose Dave’s favorite #2. Not only is it delicious, it is healthy. I went to the Pembroke location and was told about their other location in Marshfield. Their staff was great! I also decided to try a 5 day cleanse and will leave a review when I finish.

Edit-​October 2014: I haven’t been happy with this place the last couple visits. I will be the only person in there and won’t get greeted for up to a couple minutes even though the workers see me. Then by the time I get waited on, 3 people are in line behind me and the person taking the order apparently is making all the orders and then mess up the order they came in. I was the only one in here recently and 5, yes 5, drinks got made before mine. Almost 20 minutes later and no apology of any kind. I wish I just asked for my money back since I couldn’t get my time back. These people need to get their act together and hire more people or have the two people working actually working on people’s orders not just one person. Very disappointed in this ordering process lately, or lack of process.

Ideal spot on the way to the beach. On weekends though it can be very dangerous pulling in and out of here because it’s right at the turn for Rexhame Beach. Driver beware.
They have a few juices to choose from and 8 or so smoothies. My favorites are #5(sometimes with a green– spinach or kale), #8 and Dave’s favorite #2(this one is wildly popular). They do take about five minutes to make and that’s when no one else is in there. The waiting can be awkward because you just stand around. There’s nothing to really look at here. Prices are a little steep for just a 3 – 4 ingredient smoothie. I do lots of smoothies at home so this place is great to have nearby when I’m out of stuff or want something a bit different but not something I could afford multiple days a week.
Awesome, healthy wheatgrass shots. You can also get them frozen to take with you. Nice option if you don’t want to drink the shot there.
Last thing– let me preface by saying I hate ginger. I only take it in capsules when needed as I despise the taste of it. I once tried «the green light» juice which contains ginger. I figured with a few other ingredients I wouldn’t be able to taste it much. Wrong! All I could taste was celery and ginger. It was soooo spicy and gross. I tried to drink it but started to gag. I wish I could’ve forced it down but just couldn’t. Bottom line: if you like ginger, try this particular juice. If you don’t like ginger, avoid. Unless of course you ask for it without it which is what I wish I did!

So glad a smoothie/​juice place like this is fairly close to me. I do a lot of smoothies at home, but this is the only place I trust if I need something on-​the-​go or on a lazy Sunday. Organic, fresh, raw. Awesome. The staff is awesome too, so kind and positive. Always open to give samples if they made a little extra.
I saw they have Raw living classes, I’ll be looking into that.

Smoothies are so delicious here and the juices are made just right. The atmosphere is very friendly and the staff are great as well. The only problem is the pricing, expensive for the sizes. The owner seems to have a heart of gold and his passion for going green really shows!

This place is unbelievable. Everything is fresh, raw and delicious. The cleanses are so good. I did a ten day cleanse and felt amazing. My kids love the fresh juice and smoothies. The classes they offer are so informative, not to mention delicious as they offer samples of many of their juices, smoothies and raw foods. They have the best wheatgrass around. I crave it, because I feel so good when I start the day with wheatgrass and Dave’s favorite smoothie #2!

Finally got over to visit, and had four smoothies. Awesome atmosphere, unbelievably good smoothies (2 year old loved his too) and very helpful staff. New to Juicing world… but loving what they have here.

Finally a place that juices! They are very new so the juicing may take time. If you drink your juice there they end up bring you samples of «overflow» from other smoothie or juice orders. It’s a very nice touch. They hold raw food classes here as well. They are located on route 53 in a small strip mall. I will be doing a 3 day cleanse starting the day after Xmas. Wish me luck!
