Not near as good as before!!! Food has become less of a quality as well as prices has risen by 20 to 40%. Take out charges and even take out salad container has gotten much smaller!!! New management/​owner is going close this place down if they keep moving in this direction!!! I’m a local and have eaten here for years but now I find myself going to village inn in Lumberton for my seafood Resturant!!!

Its not as good as it use to be & since it has been leased by others (outside of Pembroke) the prices are just to high for me. My husband & I go to Pier 41 in Lumberton & we have always had good service & the food is very good.

Terrible meal food was plain and nothing special. The service was even worse. We had to seat our self while the host looked straight at us. Then the waitresses paid no attention to us though the restraunt was empty and after all the bad food and service I was mocked me for breastfeeding. Overall it was just a horrible experience.

This place is one of the best restaurants I’ve visited. The food is excellent and the service was superior. I must say that after this experience it is evident that quality service and excellent food is not a thing of the past. You will definitely find it right here at this restaurant. Thank you so much Teresa for the suggestion. I was not disappointed at all.

Very nice place to eat in town. Probably one of the best. You have the choice of table or booth. Some of the platters on the menu are either pricy or too large for one person to attempt to eat. Lunch specials were reasonably priced for the college student on the go. Ordered the shrimp basket with Hushpuppies, coleslaw, and your choice of either french fries or a baked potato. I ordered the potato and got a side salad.
Exactly 3 minutes after placing my order, I had my entrée delivered to my table. I barely had enough time to get my salad and eat a cucumber in it. The speed with which I came out perturbed me slightly, because speed does not always equal quality.
The 20 – 25 mini fried shrimp I had were hot and good, maybe needing a thicker batter and a browner coat. Hushpuppies were TO DIE FOR! Light, flaky, and not overcooked! The baked potato piping hot, but very crumbly inside, and the honey butter added a weird sweetness when added, which was semi-​out of place, but it was okay. Wish they gave me a knife to eat the hot potato with!
Great overall, but the speed at which my order came out with still sticks with me. I am not sure how they did it in the kitchen, but it is a little dubious how fast they «cooked» my shrimp, potato, and Hushpuppies. Still good, just weird.

It was fresh and it was a lot of food. It could of used some flavoring. The hush puppies w/​butter were probably the best of my meal :) I ordered the scallops and something else for an upcharge.

Nice, but plain, little seafood place. Good selection and the food is fresh. Family place with lots of local atmosphere. Probably the best choice for lunch in the immediate area. Fried and broiled.
