Creative Playthings

This was my first swing set purchase so I had no idea what to expect. We went to the Pembroke showroom which was awesome. It’s conveniently located right off the highway and they have a huge indoor space with all of the swing sets assembled for you to see. We found the one we wanted and had some questions so we found a salesman, Geoff, who helped us out. Geoff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He REALLY knows the product inside and out and was very easy to talk to. He walked me through all of the different configuration options, helped me decide on the number of swing stations, explained all of the accessories and in about 10 – 15 minutes he helped me zero in on what would be the best fit for us. Geoff processed the order quickly, set us up with an install date convenient for us and we were on our way. The support didn’t stop there. I had some challenges in preparing the swing set area in my yard, specifically in trying to figure out how big the space should be and where the set would go when delivered. I must have called Geoff 5 times and he was super friendly, patient and helpful. He provided me all of the measurements I needed and fully answered all of my questions. I later had to reschedule my install and he was very understanding about that as well.
The installers showed up on time and were friendly and professional. They assembled the set in just over a couple of hours, were organized, clean and did a great job.
Overall, my experience with Creative Playthings could not have been better. For me, it was Geoff that really made it and is the driver behind the 5 star rating. I would highly recommend contacting him if you are in the market for a swing set.
Oh, and the swing set is awesome! Very high quality set!

Terrible company!!! My swing set was put together by a man who didn’t know what he was doing. Also they forgot our rockwall. When I called they said it would take 3 weeks to come in. 8 weeks later still nothing. Then they told me they would come out on Monday between 2 – 5 to install the wall. Guess what, they never showed up! Now my daughters birthday party will be difficult with no way to climb to the slide.

We did not get a swingset here but we did have a child’s birthday party here and it was great. After making the first phone call to get info, I was comfortable that it was going to be great. The man I spoke to was friendly and informative and explained everything perfectly. The day of the party we had a person there to explain the rules and bring out the cake etc but other than that they basically leave you alone and let the kids have fun which was great. My son and all his friends had a blast. Also the place was very clean, which is a huge plus with this kind of play place.

If it wasn’t for price, this place would get 5 stars. So I have been researching and trying to buy a swingset for the kids for over a year. I just could not justify the prices here, but after having the product, I am so glad, we did not go for a cheap set from Toys R Us. The set is so sturdy, kids love it, and do play on it alot. The customer service was great, the sales people were not pushy at all, and after there was a little issue with the installation, they came back to fix it. Great customer service. You can spend anywhere from $ 1800−10k here. We waited for the end of winter sale, and got a great deal.
