Capone’s Pizzeria & Prohibition Pub

I order pizza for delivery and it took an hour and half to get it. By the time it came it was cold. Not to mention the woman on the phone was rude. Will not order from them again

Pretty decent food kinda expensive delvery service slow but certain items are good like burgers and calzones my favorite is chick parm sub though.

DO NOT GET DELIVERY FROM CAPONES!
Ordered over $ 50 of food at 7:15 tonight. We were told (about an hour) It is now 9:00 and still NO FOOD!!!
Unacceptable and clearly an issue from other comments on Unilocal.NEVERAGAIN!

When we work late we’ll phone in an order for pick up on the way home. For some reason they don’t seem to be able to drain pasta properly before they dump it into the aluminum take out containers. Seriously, how freaking hard is that? Invariably the pasta is swimming in water in the bottom of the container when I get it home. I’ve even asked them over the phone to please not do that, and they still do. There is little attention to detail and they seem indifferent to customer requests to do things right. Avoid this place until they wake up and make some effort to make the food correctly.

I do like their pizza. Unfortunately, the service with takeout leaves a lot to be desired. I ordered a small pizza last night and asked if I could maybe have some dipping sauce (the one that goes with the onion rings) with my pizza. I got a lot of eye-​rolling from a young woman behind the counter, and was told rudely to order it next time BEFORE I paid, as it was extra. I would have happily paid extra for it– they didn’t even give me the option– they just spoke down to me and made me feel like an idiot, No worries capones! I will not be returning, so we don’t have to worry about me inconveniencing you by asking for a spoonful of sauce.

BEWARE this place is run by crooks. Ordered delivery last night and was quoted it would be 40 minutes. An hour and a half later no food so we called to inquire about the delay. We were told on the phone that they only had 1 driver — when we asked for our money back we were told «Oh you want your money back? Alright I’ll just tell my driver not to deliver the food» and we were hung up on. We proceeded to call back and ask for the manager only to be hung up on again and again.
Checked my bank statement this morning and was charged $ 50 for food I never received. Called and asked to speak to the owner 5 times and was given the run around. The owner STILL hasn’t called me and it seems they have robbed me of my $ 50. Avoid this place at all costs.

Bashklov Babadook like Capone’s a lot. Good atmosphere in restaurant/​bar to celebrate famous murderer Al Capone. American legend! Subs are tasty. Pizza average. I like the bread baskets they bring out before the meal — Very tasty! But I leave my number for lovely waitress once and she no call me. Why she no call B. Babadook? Otherwise great place.

I only ever pick up pizza (cheese or hamburg) here, and sometimes do delivery when visiting the fam down here. I love their pizza, it’s probably in my top 3 favorite pizza places. Never ate here, not sure what the bar/​dining area is like.
It’s always fast service.

Seriously the best steak and cheese sub ever. In fact all subs are huge and the pizza is outstanding! If I’m getting delivery this is pretty much my choice everytime

We ordered pizza for delivery at 5:30 on a Sunday and we told that it would take an hour.
Pizza finally showed up at 7:15 and it was ice ice cold.
There are way too places that deliver hot food in the amount of time they tell you to ever bother with Capone’s again.

Me and my husband come into Capone’s almost 2 – 3 times a week now whether it’s picking up food, dining in or getting delivery and I have to say this place is AWESOME!!! The bartenders/​waitresses are hilarious, quick, and extremely helpful. The atmosphere is cozy, a fireplace and booths with a high table. The decorations look like they belong in a billionaires home– if you don’t believe me then check out the bathroom. Next, the food. In the pub there’s specials everyday/​night which change and aren’t on the menu and they are to-​die-​for. There are usually eggrolls for appetizers which melt in your mouth. Me and hubby have tried the bacon cheeseburger and the Mac n cheese. The pasta dishes are massive and have the best sauces I’ve ever eaten. The Alfredo is incomparable to anything you’ll eat and the pasta sauce isn’t too sweet or too salty, it’s perfect and you can tell it’s homemade. We tried the pizza for the first time a week ago after hearing about it from a friend and it was also great. We got a half pepperoni/​half cheese.
This place is truly a gem. The bar is awesome, the pub is awesome, the food is awesome, and the workers are awesome. A++ to this place :-)

5 stars alone for the steak and cheese eggrolls. Chicken and broccoli alfredo pizza is a go-​to for my family and I. Delicious. And the people are wicked nice, too.

This is an update more for customers than Capones. for take out, they give you numbers. However people are freaking stupid and walk in and always don’t remember the number they were given. So, they just say «i ordered a small sub» Then you walk in 5 minutes later, actually know what number your order is and they tell you someone just walked out with your order so now you’ll have to wait. Happened here 3 times now. Since people are morons, Capones should be double checking with their phone number since that is on the receipt. Just a warning to always 1.) know your number and 2.) check your order before you leave.

This Place is a FRAUD ! Just called to place a order for delivery, was on the Capone’s Pizzeria website looking to get some soup and a entrée. When I was quoted the price it seemed extremely high. So I asked why so much money, the man stated the prices and I said those are not the prices I am looking @ and he said oh, you must have a old menu. I said no I am on your website and the prices are much lower, he said the website hasn’t been updated in a couple years so do you want the order or not? I said you should update your website seeing it is not correct. He again says do you want the order or not. I said no !! And he hung up… BUYER BEWARE WHEN ORDERING !! I Am going to give another restaurant my business, they can keep there attitude !!

It’s a super dark bar area with about 12 seats. There is 4 booths — again really, dark. I would rate the food about a 4.

We jumped off the main road looking for a quick bite. Walked in and were surprised by the décor. Service was great, Coca-​Cola was awful (might have been fake) and the food was good.

This relatively conventional sub shop pizza place, has a curved door entrance to a bar. harkening back to an old style speakeasy.

I ordered pizza from this place on two difference occasions. I got the margherita pizza with extra roasted red peppers and spinach. The pizza is a bit pricey when you compare to other places, but I’m a pizza snob and this was worth it! I loved the crispy crust and the sauce. I ordered a larger pizza to savor it for both lunch and dinner. I’ve never been to the actual location, so I can’t really comment. I would definitely order again. Other people at work have ordered sandwiches from them and they look and smell amazing. I’m guessing you can’t go wrong with one of those either.

While Capone’s is not necessarily my favorite pizza, I really appreciate their unique style of seafood, pizza and subs. I have been coming here for the pizza since 2002 and I always have a really good time when I’m here. The Chicken Parm Subs are excellent and I had scallops wrapped in bacon that were amazing and fresh. There’s one side of the restaurant where it’s like a Greek Family owned «House of Pizza» The dining room/​bar area is cool and it has a unique feel. My favorite part of Capone’s has always been the bathroom, which is enough to justify coming here in my opinion.

Decent pizza. Not «Wow» but better than some of the other delivery places in the area. I’ve only gotten take out; I’ve never been on the restaurant side.
