I’m a regular at this nail salon and I never leave disappointed! Everyone is very friendly and no one minds when you ask them to fix something. This place is cheaper for pedi and gel manicures compared to most salons so that’s another plus. I bring my friends here and no one has ever had a complaint. Many colors to choose from and just renewed equipment!

Would love to give this place a good review, but it’s hard to do so when you pay more than you normally do for a mani pedi and it lasts less time than it should because this is gel. A friend of mine has been coming here for a while and told me she was going, so I asked her to get me an appointment with her lady after her because I was in desperate need and wouldn’t be able to go to my regular place. I arrived and she was still finishing up with my friend, so we chatted and I picked my gel nail polish color in the meantime. I then got to sit in the big massage chair to have my pedi done(never got handed a remote to turn it on or anything and I honestly didn’t bother looking for it). Anyway, I thought my pedicure was fine, until three days later when I get home from work and go to shower to realize that not just one, but both of my big toes had already chipped. She used gel polish on my toes(which I’m also not used to), but I thought it was supposed to last longer? Why did it chip so quick?! Either way, already totally disappointed because my pedicure is what usually lasts me(up to a month), not THREE days especially not when I paid $ 15 more than what I’m used to paying for the whole service! Anyway, now on to my manicure. She did a good job, even asked her to do a little design on my ring fingers and she did a cute flower with a rhinestone in the middle of the flower(extra $ 5 for two fingers) My issues with it is that although it hasn’t chipped(today is only day 10), the top part of it seems to be lifting up and if I run my fingers through my hair or even when washing it I get my hair stuck there(never had this issue with regular polish or even other times I’ve done gel). My friend also mentioned she’s been having issues with the polish the last few times she’s gone(chipping). I don’t know if it’s because they have a «new» polish with more colors now, but it doesn’t seem to be working out and I definitely wouldn’t recommend going here to spend $ 43 on a regular gel mani/pedi for it to then chip within a few days($ 48 since I did the design, who knows how much more for French). Either way, when you include tip it’s almost $ 60, definitely not worth it! Unless they get a polish that lasts, or maybe it’s something they are doing that doesn’t make it last, I’m not sure. But I won’t be going back, so my search for a good, affordable, nice nail place in Pines continues(otherwise will have to continue going to Miami-my regular place).

As I lay here typing at 3:00 am-so furious that I can’t sleep-I decided to take my frustration out where it needs to go. Let me start by saying the people I encountered here are incredibly rude. I don’t pamper myself often and I never go to a salon, so the last thing that I want to do is spend a lot of money to be treated like shit. The first guy seemed like he didn’t want to be bothered as he asked me to sit in his chair and told me he was going to do my nails and then he handed me off to Amy(before I could even attempt to sit in his chair). Amy seemed ok at first-until I kindly and *gently* asked her to even out 2 of my natural nails that she had SLANTED as in a ski slope-I will save the other joke here. When I pointed out the slopes she tried to convince me that I was wrong– I had to turn my finger in 3 different angles to show her on 2 fingers-again nicely. One of the girls walked by and Amy and the girl spoke to each other in their language-the girl giggled turned around and looked at me right in the face-she knew that I knew-I looked right in her eyes and didn’t make a facial expression. They didn’t even hide the fact that they were talking shit about me right in front of my face. I think any human being can agree that this is complete and utter bullshit. I almost said something but refrained as I didn’t want to leave with nails unfinished or get into a pissing contest with any of them. This shit talking continued a few times during my pedicure as they talked about other customers and me-I do not in fact speak Vietnamese, however, when I say they were being obvious-I mean blatant. They speak English. They would look at the person they were talking about together and laugh. Rude C U Next Tuesday’s. I should have read the reviews and I should have left when I realized what was going on. I wish I would have, but I didn’t. I had agreed to get my eyelashes done after my pedicure because I had always wanted to try it-big effing mistake. Huge mistake. Biggest mistake. EVER. I would rather step in dog shit barefoot than ever come back to this place. Here is where I become irate-she said they were comfortable and safe. She said they would last two weeks. As soon as I sat up they irritated my eye and were unbelievably uncomfortable, but I figured I would adjust within a day-these were medium-which are a slight bit longer than mine. When I got home I realized that she had missed a section closer towards the inside of my eye-the focal point of a face. I went back the next afternoon and she tried to convince me 3 different times that I was wrong-one of the excuses was that everyone’s eye was a different angle and shape-my face and eyes are perfectly symmetric. I had to show her and count visible eyelashes between both eyes for her to fix it. She was not happy-again the shit talking. I do want to point out that I gave her a ridiculously generous tip the day prior, because I thought she might have been having a bad day and I thought it would cheer her up. Benefit of the doubt, right? Apparently, she’s just a wanker. She ended up glueing the eyelash she forgot to put on my eye and put the wrong eyelash size on and I looked stupid. When I pointed this out she was again argumentative. She«fixed» it but my eye was continuously irritated in one eye all evening. Again, thinking I needed to adjust. Also, 3 eyelashes had fallen out in less than 24 hours and I hadn’t rubbed them or put make up on anywhere-I was extremely careful. I looked at my eyelid this evening and realized that she glued way too far down and my eye was irritated because I was being stabbed lightly and repeatedly in the eye every time I blinked. I ended up having to try multiple(and some dangerous) things with tweezers and cuticle scissors near my eye because it hurt so bad. Finally, I decided to put coconut oil on them to try to take them off-which worked except in two parts where she glued the fake lashes to my real lashes-one of which was the one she«fixed» which was also the eyelash that was poking me in the eye. I had to try everything to remove it. As gently as I tried-I ripped an entire section of MY eyelashes out. I’m upset and obviously devastated. Sure eyelashes grow back in 6 months, but what the f*ck. Obviously I can’t prove that she did it on purpose but every placement was perfect everywhere else-until she fixed HER mistake. She also glued eyelashes to the other eye directly on my lashes wish is a no no-and I can’t even remove these. To say that I’m unhappy with this place would be an understatement. I want my money back. I want to flip and complain to the owner but I’m sure they are all related and it would not make an ounce of difference. Amy-I hope you read this. Karma is a b word and I hope someone plucks all of your eyelashes out!!!

Tammy has been doing my nails for 2 years now. Don’t know how everyone else’s work is here as I’ve only gone to her. I’ve tried others around the area only to come back here. Tammy knows what I like and always makes sure she makes time for me. May not be as fancy as other places but if your looking for good and friendly service Pro Nails is your place.

This place is terrible except for the nail technician, Tammy. I used to love this place until recently. The men here SUCK!!!’ I’ll get my nails done and within an hour or so, the Polish is literally peeling off. I do not recommend this place unless you’re having an emergency and need your nails done ASAP. And if you do try out this place, ask for Tammy.
