Papa John’s Pizza

This place has done a complete 180 since my last review. I ordered tonight and it only took 20 minutes to get my pizza and everything arrived fresh and hot. It’s nice to see that management truly cares about the product they are putting out and especially listening to their customers feedback and making appropriate changes to provide better service. I will definitely be ordering again!

If I ordered delivery from this papa johns 100 times, they forgot my extra pepperoncini peppers 99 of them. Really?! My bf wants them when he eats his pizza, that’s why I order them. But it’s an ongoing battle to get the pizza and peppers at the same time. I always have to call them back and they always ask me if I want them to have the driver bring them?! Yes! maybe they would learn and not forget them, right? Wrong.
Other then that the pizza is what it is, Papas Johns. Just wish I didn’t have to call back and tell them they forgot something I ordered and paid for…

Don’t order delivery from here if you’re hungry. Expect to wait over an hour and a half for a large pizza, not to mention also living down the street. Also expect to deal with being put on hold mid order to have unprofessional side conversation and being dishonest about arrival time. Icing on the cake is that when you call to cancel the order because you are no longer willing to pay for something that has been and will likely continue to disappoint, the staff wont even be apologetic. Just give you an attitude for trying to give money to their establishment and being hungry. Never again.

I don’t normally write reviews but they are really awesome, I ordered a pizza, came late and cold, and it was the wrong pizza. Called and they were great about it Normally not a fan of papa john I prefer dominoes but customer service was that great I will deff be coming to you guys Give that manager a raise!

Ordered a pizza at 7 pm called at 9 asking where our pizza is at? The girl on the phone seemed new she kept asking questions over and over again when we already gave her our information. Instead of putting me on hold I heard her whole conversation with her manager. The manager got on the phone and stated her driver came to our home and called 4 times but no one answered. LIES. We were home patiently waiting with kids that were hungry. The fact that the manager tried to lie was one thing but she offered to send another pizza out in 40 minutes!!! So wait another hour basically. This place was unprofessional, she kept apologizing but what was your apology going to do feed my kids? No you can keep it. So mad because we like papa Johns. They just need to hire some competent people.

It’s been at least 3 years since we’ve eaten Papa Johns. We usually get NY style pizza from our local family pizza shop at the corner. But I was just craving the soft, fluffy crust with garlic dipping sauce.
I placed the order online, and the email said to expect delivery of our 6-​Cheese Tuscan Pizza, extra garlic sauce and chocolate chip cookie in approx 30 – 40 mins. The driver arrived at the 35 minute mark.
Everything appeared fine until I opened the box for the cookie, instead it was a brownie tray. It looked good, and was warm and fudgy. But it wasn’t what I ordered. Oh well. Deducting 1 star for dessert screwup.
The pizza was good and nicely warm (not hot, but warm enough to dig in and enjoy). Plenty of garlic dipping sauce. I had ordered 1 extra for 50-​cents, but they sent me four (bonus!). And the fudge brownies were awesome! I ate 3 by myself.

The worst service. I order a pizza and they went to a different house. When I called them to ask where was my pizza, the manager passed the phone to the delivery guy and he did not take responsibility. After all that they never deliver it.

I just moved in the area and my old papa johns was always too busy and way understaffed. This papa johns had lots of employees working really fast. I put my online order in and drove there in 5 – 7 minutes and my pizza was ready with perfect accuracy in how I wanted it (Extra cheese, barbecue sauce, well done with marks on the cheese). The cashiers were really nice and I guess they have mostly regular customers and didn’t recognize me and introduced themselves and welcomed me to the neighborhood. A+ for this location, keep up the good work!

Ordered a pepperoni pizza and when It came to the house, the pizza was cold and not cut…
Obviously upset, I called back and received a great recovery! Mistakes happen but it shouldn’t. I was very pleased that they fixed the mistake in less than an hour! Impressive.

I should be giving this place more stars but my last experience sucked !!!
They not only took and Hr+ to get to my house, BUT the pizza was sooooooo cold and stale I mean damn. I understood the rain but even if they were back up in orders, mines shouldn’t have gone with those orders, and as a result my order was very disappointing !! :-(
I will give them another chance since I was able to inform how unhappy we were, they promised it won’t happen again.

I just had the worst experience EVER! Ordered a pepperoni pizza at 8:21pm, was quoted 35 – 45 min. Delivery arrives at security gate at 9:17pm and doesn’t make it to my front door until 9:26. A little over an hour at this point but that’s okay, I guess. I tip in addition to delivery charges. Ready to eat EXCEPT my pizza is pepperoni and anchovies!!! My daughter is severly allergic! I call back at 9:28 and was told a driver would replace the pizza. At 10:02pm there is no replacement and my daughter and I are super hungry the manager explains they are under staffed and offers a free Pepsi on my next order… at 10:45pm during my third call I explain how a free Pepsi is unacceptable at this point and request reimbursement. I was offered a free pizza on my next order and my pizza finally arrived at 11:04pm. Practically three hours for a large pepperoni pizza! Can you tell I’m a little more than annoyed?

Pizza is one of my favorite foods! I am basing this review off the total three large pizza chains. Papa Johns is defiantly one of the best pizza chains, they consistently deliver great pizza time and time again. I always order online, so I cant rate the customer service. My online order experience is for the most part simple and fast.
