If I could put a zero for the ratings I would, one star is too much to give these people that destroyed my daughters hair. They are completely incompetent in what they do and can not work with people who have African American hair. I permed my daughter hair for the first time back in August. Around the month of November I asked to perm the hair again and the answer was no. Can you imagine hair that needs to be permed over literally breaking right before your eyes. I watched as my daughter who had long healthy hair is now down to nothing. Not only are they slow as turtles, no one in the salon speak English. The person that started your hair is never the person that finishes the hair. If your ever in the neighborhood run away from the place, they are horrible. I regret the day I stepped foot in that salon. Now it is costing me more to fix my daughter hair back to what it used to be. So thank you Milly’s hair Salon for doing a horrible job. You guys need to listen to the to the customer!!! I will never go back to this place again.

I’ve been coming here for over 10 years. I started when I was permed, through my transitioning days and now as a natural. I love this salon. The salon is first come first serve, so there is a wait to be seen. But I’ve never waited longer than 20−30mins. Im always in and out. I love how Raquel does my hair. She is a perfectionist and will make sure your hair is on point! Milly and the other stylist are always super nice. I am not sure what these other reviews are talking about. They are all bilingual and very knowledgeable. They care about your hair and will not participate in damaging your hair. Check them out. The best dominican salon Im south Florida!

I tired to un-star this review because this salon is thee worst. My 1st visit on a Wednesday and these people are as slow as a turtle crossing a street. It seems as if they don’t know how to multitask as I’ve been to other Dominican salons and the most I’ve waited for a wash/set was 15 mins. No one there but the receptionist speaks English, not even sure if they are licensed hair stylist. If you don’t have an appt for get about it on top of the slowness the ppl that has appt get seen before you so your wait till will probably be 2 hours. I would hate to see how these people manage on the weekends. 1st time last time!

Find another place. Not only are they super slow in providing services, but they tell YOU what they want to do as per Milly(the owners) instruction. I’ve never had a salon tell me they won’t relax a partial piece of hair! That they’ll only relax the whole head. To me, that tells me Milly is not confident in her employees ability to provide service. Maybe it’s that, maybe it’s that they can’t charge the full amount I don’t know but ill take my money elsewhere before I ever decide to walk in this salon again.

Rosa I miss you soooo much!!! That woman used to do my hair so well when I was relaxed. My hair went down hill after she left. I am now transitioning to natural hair and I will explain why. After Rosa left(tears) I went in there for the usual wash and set. It’s a first come first serve salon and yes the stylist are very good but one wasn’t so good. That sorry excuse for a hairstylist left me under the dryer for ALMOST2 hours. At the time my hair was down my back so I was used to waiting for my wash and set to dry for a while. But she just left me unattended. I had to tell another stylist who was busy to help me turn the hair dryer off. She cussed out the terrible nuisance aka beautician from hell in Spanish.(I don’t speak Spanish but I know most conversations that are not so good don’t involve hands waving and eyes rolling) I was grateful that she addressed her negligence. She didn’t even wash my hair that great. After that. The lady that saved me blow dried my hair and I was set. I gave her a nice tip. Payed the front desk and left. I haven’t gone back since, and since Rosa was gone. I have no reason to come back.

The stylists are good n nice but they get a bad review from me because they did not honor their word. My first time going there, one stylist told me that if I come back n like their Facebook status I would get 20% off. I went there today to get color n highlight which ended up costing me over $ 100 then the owners son tells me I get a discount my NEXT visit. This is the most I normally spend on my hair n was looking forward to my discount. I will no longer be going there. There are many as qualified salons in the area… Oh and they don’t accept credit cards!!! wTH this is 2014!!! They have this ATM inside that charges you a fee on addition to the one ur bank charges

I went there today on recommendation of a friend of my sister-in-law. I have natural hair and wanted to do something different. I got there are noon, was greeted and was asked to have a seat after signing in. All the stylists seemed to busy with a client so I didn’t mind waiting… at first. Fast forward to 2:30 and I’m still waiting! I saw people come after me get serviced first and when I asked about it, they said the person that had to do my hair was busy with another client. Thank goodness I brought a book with me. If it wasn’t for the fact that I didn’t have a back up plan for my hair and really didn’t feel like going through the twisting process that I normally do to my hair, I would have left. I was finally brought to the back around 3:45 to wash and condition my hair. Because they were going to be a direct blow dry, no rollers, they suggested I utilize a deep conditioning treatment. Since this was the first time applying heat to my natural hair in a very long time, I agreed & felt no pressure by them one way or the other. After the deep conditioner was put on my hair & I was asked to sit under the dryer with a cap over my hair to let it penetrate, I waited almost another 30 mins AFTER the dryer went off for someone to rinse it out & my styling to actually begin. I was concerned with the direct blow dry method but it doesn’t appear that my hair has suffered any damage. The stylist, think her name was Paola, was very careful about not frying my hair with the dryer or pulling to hard with brush. When it came time to flat iron, she was very meticulous & from what I can tell, she avoided going over the same section of hair repeatedly. I also felt better with her doing my hair since she was also sporting an afro(which is what I was sporting when I came in, lol). If it wasn’t for the fact that I had to wait so freaking long, I would be giving this place 5 stars. The only other things that kinda irked me was the fact that #1) the receptionist seemed very surprised that my natural hair was soft when she was assessing my hair & #2) there didn’t really seem to be any rhyme or reason to the order of people being seen. Based on the results of the blowout, I will probably go back but try to make it as soon or as close to when they open the shop. That is 6 hours of my life I cannot get back!

I do love my blow outs but the employees at this salon are way too slow! Who has 5 hrs to dedicate to a simple blow out? And it’s not because its packed, too many breaks/phone calls etc. when I’m trying to get on with my day.

I have gone here 3 times and they never have enough help. It is a Dominican salon meaning no appts so first come first serve. I left in two cases because you have to wait over an hour and the one time they did my hair it had to be redone. Finished with them!!!
