I would definitely recommend this place for an outdoor event! I had my graduation brunch here, which was planned last minute. The owner was extremely accommodating and helpful. I was able to put my menu together based on what the restaurant has to offer, and I was also able to get chairs and tables along with the outdoor space on the side of the restaurant. It was a little hot but we managed and the view to the lake was perfect. The parking lot is huge, so parking was not an issue. The food was great based on feedback from my family and friends(there was jerk chicken, curry goat, fish and more). I was also able to have two wonderful young ladies help set up, share the food, and help clean up. Could not express enough, how grateful I am for their service. Although the space is right off the restaurant, we still had enough privacy. I did get everything else on my own(tablecloths, plates etc.), but there are certain items provided by the restaurant per request. If you’re planning an event, and you want it outside with shelter, this space is perfect! Thank you again Finger Lickin!

I ordered the large jerk chicken with rice and peas, sweet plantains, and cabbage and 3 beef patties(2 spicy and 1 regular). The large portion is enough to share. The food is amazing. They have the best patties that I’ve tried thus far. Great flavor.

Oxtail is good, service is good, my go-to for beef patty. Clean and plenty of parking.

Best Jamaican patties around town, my favorite is the mild beef and my son’s favorite is the chicken, however there is a variety to choose from. The hot soups are delicious. This place gets busy but definitely worth it!

Spicy beef patties are legit. No joke. Just the right amount of spice, not overpowering. Necessary visit when in FL. Long lines during the lunch rush but worth the wait.

Had to update for the 5th star because the patties are the best after trying Jamaican patties from Miami to coral springs… always fresh and hot, and the coco bread is great. I also really like the Jets chicken and the goat

My cravings bring me here every once in awhile and I’m very thankful this place exists! It’s the only place I can satisfy my oxtail/coco bread needs. The beef patties are always hot and ready as well!

There’s no Jamaican food in the Bay Area, so my sister and her fiancé decided to expose me to this place. Jamaican patties… first thing that comes to my mind is hamburger patties with island seasoning. No no, that’s not it. We ordered the beef patties. They’re basically like a crispy flakey empanada with amazingly seasoned beef inside. SOGOOD. They’re only about $ 2 each also! Next time I’m in Florida, I definitely want more! I hear their oxtail is great also.

The place was a rare gem my wife and I stumbled upon looking for houses in the area. The food is amazing. Probably one of the best patties I have ever eaten. The jerk chicken is very tasty. The restaurant is huge and lots of room to dine in. Some of the servers may need some room for improvement but overall the experience was fantastic.

Service sucks, very confused slow staff! Looks like no one is on the same page with ordering and getting your order right!

So disappointed. As a fellow jamaican i am ashamed that the jerk pork had barely any jerk spices on it… and more than 60% of chunks of fat. The curry chicken was watered down and limited flavor… and my favorite res peas soup. was flat. Sadly, I had to admit that the cuban restaurant up the street did a better job. When i ordered the soup, they did tell me that there was no more meat left in the soup. For this, they gave me one whole dollar off. The soup was watered down and had very little flavor. I do eat there quite often and I have to say that all in all, their dinners are not getting any better. I really don’t want to make the switch but at this point, they’re leaving me little to no choice. Thankfully, I still love their patties.

Ordered curried chicken and jerk pork. The curry was ok. This review is for the jerk pork, which was horrible. First, we didn’t get hardly any pork but, rather, more fat than a slab of bacon. I can’t believe they served it. Then the taste didn’t even resemble Jamaican jerk. I wasn’t expecting anything fantabulous, but Pollo Tropical represented jerk better than this.

If anyone knows Fingerlickin then you know the service is slow the associates are rude and always cursing, laughing, talking to each other across the food, on dem cell phone etc… but the food is usually good. But hold the damn press… I went to fingerlickin and ordered a jerk chicken samdwich… I am not sure if they ran out of chicken or what but the whole sandwich was full of bones like they cut up the chicken back. I was so disappointed i could have slapped someone with my Coco bread. I am not sure Lisa is aware of this behavior but come on a good business is based on good people and good food. Check the freakin food, if you wouldnt eat it dont serve it. Respect due.

Out of fish, out of fried dumpling, no plantain tart, and at that point I gave up on asking about the very few other things I can eat on the menu as a pescatarian. It was a pity my dad insisted on staying because I was ready to say cancel the whole order and walk out. Doesn’t even matter how the food tastes at that point and the check out guy was rude. Not worth the money one bit. Rice and peas was just average, not terrible. My dad enjoyed his meal so I give one extra star for that(curry goat), but honestly I’ll probably never go back. It was also really hard to find from the road.

Kinda disappointed. I ordered 2 veggie patties and I’m guessing they make that to order since the lady told me it would take 15 mins… So I waited. & waited it was finally 30 mins later and I finally got my food. They workers felt bad for me waiting so long they offered me to pick something for free so I picked the tres leche desert… Well guess what I was eating it, tasted alright… Then I found mold… Gross… I called the store immediately to worn them not to sell the rest that they had left. The lady told me that it’s been in the fridge for 3 days!!! That’s not fresh ?? I shouldn’t be eating this or even given this as a paying customer !!! Can not believe it… She was surprised but still you should check the food before it is given out… She offered for me to come back to get something else but no thank you i am super disgusted…

My daughter found this place from her boyfriends sisters recommendation. It’s hidden off the main road. I started out at Donna’s, but we walked in and walked out! Headed over to Finger Lickin’! This place is nicely decorated! Roomy with tv’s! Constant flow of customers which say A LOT about a business! Nice staff. I tried to get their wifi password, but the guy couldn’t remember it. Since I’m vegan my choices are limited. I had rice & peas, plantains & a veggie patty which they said were cruelty free. Rice & peas could use a little more heat, but I’m a scotch bonnet pepper lover! lol I would return for sure! Parking: plenty! No worries on that. Even in a lunch rush crowd!

Whenever I drove by this place, I used to wonder, what an odd name?! But their parking lot was always full! The first time I had it was during their catered lunch at an office party, and we were licking our fingers! Lol! I recommend the curry chicken or curry goat, jerk chicken, pork, rotis, patties and they’re cakes and coconut desserts are the best! Gotto have the Jamaican soda, ya man!

Long wait, curt staff and slow service(even with an advance call) makes this place the LAST Jamaican restaurant I care to dine with. The menu is also overpriced. Eaxh visit leaves me questioning my capacity for punishment. Save yourself and go to Donnas or even oh-so-very commercial Golden Crust.

I ordered the spicy beef patty which was very tasty & very spicy! I also ordered the large oxtail dinner for $ 16 and a large curry goat dinner for $ 13. The dinner platter includes rice & peas, cabbage and 2 pieces of plantains. I was disappointed with the oxtail portion which only included 2 very very small &2 medium pieces of oxtail with an extra large heaping of over cooked peas of rice and soggy cabbage. I really wish they were more generous with the oxtail portion for $ 16. The plantains were really good. The curry goat was pretty bland in flavor. Overall, I would not come back for anything other then for the beef patties.

This is my favorite Jamaican spot for food. I would have given this place 5-stars but sometimes the people who work here are not so friendly. The Patties are the best in Florida… that’s on the for-realz!!! And It“s true… You got to get a meatloaf patty… Most Jamaican places don’t even serve this-they are the BEST. I ordered a box for my job and EVERYONE love them. The Jerk and curry pork and chickens-So good!!! This place is MAD dope!!! **Note: Great place for a lunch date… you know, someone that you are«diggin’» or if you are dating a Jamaican and you want to impress them. this is the place to come!!! Much propz, much propz!!!
