Love the cozy atmosphere, pizza was great! Worth the wait, owner came over to the table to greet us and check on our experience!

Went once and found food good, however, owner ‘Steve’ rude and disrespectful(yelled at family holding door open too long for a disable person to enter) and then blamed his outburst on another customer who he named that made him mad prior. Local Italian Umberto’s and Broccolini’s have excellent food and never an issue with how long it took for family with walker to enter.

After hearing raves reviews about this restaurant, we decided to give it a try. My first impression was being yelled at by someone whom I thought was a waiter(later to discover it was the owner) for holding the door open too long because of the outside heat. I was holding the door open for my disabled mother who had a stroke 5 years ago, and spent two years trying to learn to walk again! Someone entering a business should never be yelled at, what kind of a «welcome to my restaurant» is that? To be fair, the food was excellent, but overcoming a poor first impression is difficult. The service was ok, not extraordinary. No one smiles. And most restaurants have the manager round on customers to see how things are going. The owner disappeared after yelling at me. Never did he ask how things were, or offer an apology. I did speak to him as I was leaving, and he said he did not know I was upset. Yet my sister called to complain about 15 – 20 minutes before we left. Although the food was very good, and the place cute, we won’t be returning. The owner needs classes in customer service, anger management and emotional intelligence. There are too many excellent restaurants in s. Fla for me to waste my money on one who has an owner who is disrespectful of his customers.

I was surprised… is a small restaurant in a shopping plaza, you can hardly see it, is almost at the corner. I got there just because my brother in law ask Goggle.. and boom … It took is here … The place looks dark, maybe because the sun hits the restaurant at the time(4:00), but like i said it looks dark, it feels like a Italian mafia place. We order some slices but they only offered for lunch but out of the kitchen we heard«We have 4 left«because they don’t sell slices but they where nice enough to offer it so, we look at each other and went for it… to this point and saying yes not to be rude, because the servers and staff looked that they where about to close and they where not attention to us but we already order and pay… let me tell you the pizza was good, the suace have a sweet kick and the crust was crunchy enough, like I said we had the last 4 slices from lunch but they were goood!!! I will give them another chance for sure!

Very picky on Italian food but this place was amazing. Italian music and low lighting very relaxing atmosphere. Service was great 1 waitress during lunch time on there Tuesday special all day 1 large cheese pie for 9.99. That didn’t stop the owner or manager from coming out and helping out. Shaved ice and coke products lol which is normal for Italian restaurants I swear. Pasta Fagioli was ok with a pinkish tomato sauce and a red bean which I’m just not that crazy about, but it still had good texture and taste. The garlic rolls were fresh and soft. they had a great taste. I got the 2 slice cheese and drink special, Tortellini with Alfredo sauce and a Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. the slices of pie were great! and cooked perfect. Surprising how heavy the slice was for a thin and crisp crust, but then I bit into it. Lots of cheese and decent hearty sauce. As far as the pastas they were great also. The Alfredo was creamy and thick and pasta was cooked perfect. The chicken used for the Fettuccine was laid on top of the bed of pasta the and sauce and had a soft amazing taste alone without even mixing it into the pasta dishes. Good food and good specials I will definitely be back Till next time

Seriously, I live 4 – 5 mins away from this restaurant & apparently they don’t deliver to me. Lmao read a previous review saying the same thing. Kinda suck you are losing business that way. You can’t deny a delivery because you’re to lazy to look at a map or too dumb to just listen to your customers… I told you on the phone I’m literally 4 mins away and you didn’t care.

These people are too simple to pick up a map. These fools wouldn’t deliver to me despite the fact that I live less than a mile and a half away because I had a southwest address. Also despite the fact that I even knew to call them when I lived even further away and had a «Southwest» address. Save your money and give it to someone who isn’t too lazy to make a delivery.

I like this pizza best in this area. Yes better than all the rest. But not a fan of the staff. When I called and asked what kind of sausage they have and this girl says, «regular sausage«and then I say what does that mean? Italian, etc. and she has no answer. You have to understand from the customers point of view it isn’t a stupid question. The correct answer is «I don’t know I will find out. «And find out. After holding its still«just regular sausage». And she kind of threw me attitude like I was deliberately making her life difficult. News Flash: I don’t ever have to deal with you again!

Last month we dined here after a long hiatus. Ordered an Amici’s Special and side of garlic rolls. Garlic rolls were awesome. Cooked perfectly(soft not overcooked). Waitress came out with pizza and advised crust was soggy on bottom and would remake if we wanted. We opted for a remake. Almost 2 hrs. at restaurant. Pizza come out ok. Went back tonight(craving garlic rolls). Our iced tea was water. The garlic rolls were pretty much burnt and dry and AGAIN the crust was soggy. Won’t return here. Something has definitely changed here. Nothing like it once was.

Pizza sauce is bland and 2 of the 10 hot wings I ordered were not edible. Gross gross gross. Pizza Hut is actually more flavorful.

After the sudden and tragic loss of nearby Pipalito, we came here hoping to satisfy our Italian craving. It’s hard to see inside and we thought it was dead and sketchy at nearly 9:00 on Friday night… Thankfully we were totally wrong. There were several patrons and the inside was so cute and quaint. Wood floors, Italian music playing, dim lighting. There appeared to be only one server but she was ONPOINT. Everything came out hot and quick and she didn’t give us a hard time with our usual special request of preparing the chicken parm with Alfredo instead of marinara. Loved: –mozzarella sticks and marinara. The sticks had a crispy coating, ooey gooey cheese that got stringy when you cut into it –garlic rolls: not too garlicky, and not bready/dense at all like other places. They were light and fluffy and not completely drowning in butter. –Alfredo sauce: much thicker than most places and with a nice mouth feel. –tortellini: not sure if these were fresh made but you coulda fooled me. –chicken parm: it was breaded with breadcrumbs not Panko like we had enjoyed at Pipalito but still good nonetheless Average: –pasta fagioli soup: nothing special here, it did taste fresh made and not out of a can on the plus side –salad: this was pretty sad, just some iceberg lettuce and cucumber slices, tomato and red onion. No croutons! –meatballs: can’t put my finger on what was off here, I guess I like them a bit«sweeter» and less beefy We of course got super full and ended up taking most of it home. Tons of food for about $ 50 including 20% tip for two people. We shall return!

Three words… Early Bird Special! Kind of found this tucked away little gem by accident on a rainy afternoon while in Pembroke Pines and OMyummyyummyG, so happy I did. The service was very good so when I asked for the gnocchi with a meat sauce/alfredo combo there was no problem. My house merlot was promptly delivered with my salad and three pieces of golden brown, garlicky heaven. Crack, I tell ya, completely addictive… The garlic rolls were amazing! My huge bowl of gnocchi arrived molten. They are not scrimping on the early bird special here. The meal was DIVINE! The gnocchi were perfectly cooked. The sauce expertly balanced and bursting with flavor. There is a «mini cannoli» listed on the dessert menu and I still had room for one more tiny bite. When the«mini» arrived, I had to clarify that it was the small version. Once again, no early bird, fit for a bird, portions going on here. The cannoli was DELISH and wrapped up an all around fab meal and for less than $ 20 might I add. It is now on my agenda to return for pizza, as there was a steady stream of pies leaving via takeout the entire time I was there. It is also on my agenda to return with my Sicilian father the next time he is in town. If you have an Italian father, you know the level of confidence it implies in an Italian restaurant to risk it with dad, but I am not worried. I loved Amici’s and so will he.
