Windmill Mall Antiques & Collectibles

Windmill Mall has a lot of spaces with lots of antiques and collectibles to peruse. The space is a bit cramped with a single path through the space (on both floors) and on a busy day would be hard to maneuver. However, Windmill Mall has the same problem that far too many other consignment/​antique outfits have, an overblown sense of worth. Now, this isn’t probably Windmill Mall’s fault but that of the people renting space, but nonetheless… We went through and looked through lots of items and of course there is the usual mix of cool and crap but ALL of it is marked at such high prices that there was just no chance we’d be buying anything. To say everything is twice as much as we would be willing to pay is probably being generous. You’d have to REALLY want something to spend the prices being asked with far too few real gems to be found that might be worth the reach in prices.

This is my favorite antique shop in Pella. The place is huge! I’ve never actually bought anything, but it’s my first stop after a Dutch letter at one of the bakeries when we’re in Pella. You’ll always find neat things.
