Well the staff was great very friendly and helpful the clerk Chrissy was the best, she knew what she was doing and very professional service with a smile, the rooms was decent the beds are a little to firm for my liking, the 25 inch TV is kinda out dated I want something I can see and they have the volume caped of so if you are hard of hearing the TV may not be what you want, the fridge in the rooms are not cold at all so don’t put milk in them or anything you want to keep cold, they do have a coffee pot in the rooms with a few type’s of coffee, I took a shower and i’m disabled and there was no bars to hold on to and nothing in the bottom of the tub to keep you from falling, I was slipping all over and about fell 7 times, but on a good note they do have name brand shampoo’s and conditioner’s they also have a hair dryer in the bathroom, as far as the rooms heater or air conditioning goes it didn’t really work to good, they have a pretty good spread for breakfast pretty much something for whole family, they do have a nice sized swimming pool it looked very inviting, all in all I would stay there again I have no real complaints that should ward you away it is a nice place to go I have to add I did see one review that the person paid less then I did I was told it would be 80 pluss tax but I got 1 dollar back out of 100 either the Iowa hotel tax is high or I was over charged lol. Stayed at Country Inn & Suites for a short weekend getaway to Pella for holiday shopping and Dutch Letters. The hotel is conveniently located off the highway and quick drive to downtown(to be fair, I suspect any hotel in town would be pretty convenient to downtown… it’s a small town.) The hotel & room was clean and comfortable. The hotel offers nice amenities like a fridge and microwave in the room(king rooms, at least), free wifi, pool, sauna, hot tub and a really nice breakfast buffet. There was no bacon on the two days we were there, but that would be the only negative to the breakfast(gimme bacon!) as the options were really good(usual stuff like waffles, cereal, toast/bagels/muffins, but also had sausage/ham(switched from one day to the next), biscuits and gravy, eggs, and hashbrowns). The bed was comfortable and the pillows were good. The room maintained temp well and was altogether comfy and inviting. About the only real nitpicky thing I’ve got was that the lobby area could have been just a touch closer. There were just a few dust bunnies in the lobby sitting area and a few muddy footprints on the stair carpet that didn’t get cleaned in the 2 days we were there. But it wasn’t like gross or dirty. Just needed to be swept a little more frequently. Again, just a small nitpick of something I noticed. The staff was friendly and accommodating checking us in, etc. All in all, if I’m ever in Pella again, I would definitely stay here again as it was a nice hotel at a good price.

Great value for the price they charge to stay here and you get complimentary breakfast every morning. Service during and after our stay was great. Left behind a cell phone charger we called the next day they had it and mailed it back to us for the price of postage. So for this they get 5 stars!

For the price I don’t think you can find a cleaner and more comfortable hotel. The description of their breakfasts are not accurate though. The breakfasts are cheap and come out of a low quality big box. Other than that and a couple of snotty kids that work there(90% of the staff is awesome and genuine especially the maids and night time clerk Shauna) the hotel is clean and comfortable, the pool is pretty chlorinated but nice, hot tub is nice with powerful jets. I think we paid $ 68 with the tax. You can’t beat it. I would recommend the place full heatedly.
