Not to often to you walk into a hotel and the front desk clerk is vacuuming and keeping the lobby nice and clean. As soon as I saw Richard, the front desk attendant, cleaning the already clean front lobby, I knew this would be a nice hotel. Pros: Room was really clean and spacious Beds are comfortable along with the pillows Wifi works really well Refrigerator and Microwave in room Direct TV(so almost every channel you can think of) Richard at the front desk really made my visit memorable, hopefully you come across him as I did Breakfast was good Cons: NONE! Overall this is a great hotel especially for the price! I will stay here whenever I pass through town again.

Nice, clean and a good location. Check-in was okay… Requested 1st floor during reservation since they have no elevator and was told our room was on the second floor! After some«conversation» we were moved to the 1st floor room we had requested. Good thing, as one of us is disabled. Good T.V. selection(Direct T.V.). Loud! Other guests(mostly construction workers) were very loud. Bed and pillows were comfy. WiFi ticked us off. While it was good when you were logged in, we kept getting kicked off, over and over again. Irritating! Bathroom good size. Good parking. Close to a lot of food and shopping. Breakfast offered, but we did not take advantage.

Not fancy, but exceeded my expectations for the price(and this place was one of the best prices for a non-creepy, non-external door, motel/inn — - skeptical? As was I!). 4 stars for the value. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, friendly staff, and basic but not to be complained about continental breakfast. If you like strong coffee, bring your Starbucks Via along and you’ll be good to go.

This hotel is clean and tidy. It’s right off Business 163 so there can be a lot of cars and trucks going by, but the noise didn’t seem to permeate to our(lobby side) upstairs room. Swimming pool and hot tub have a nice enclosure and appear to be well maintained. We don’t eat the continental breakfast offered at these places, but the one here appears as mediocre as all the others, nothing special to recommend it. Coffee is Iowa watery weak. The main drawbacks we found were that the staff is pretty green(inexperienced.) The«Print from the web to the office printer» which seemed very handy for us to use didn’t work, and the clerk and manager couldn’t seem to figure out how to make it print to their printer, so I had to log in to their lobby computer to print boarding passes anyway. There are entry/exit doors on both sides of the building, but most of them are locked and cannot be used so I see a potential emergency exit problem, in addition to the fact that since there are no elevators, if you’re on the second floor, you may have to schlep your bags a significant distance, then haul them up the stairs. The place was convenient for our needs, but if I had a choice(we didn’t at the time) I think I’d stay elsewhere in Pella.
