This is one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. The owner and staff are very friendly and you can tell they love what they do. The salsa is the best I have tasted, in fact all of the food is always cooked perfectly. I highly recommmend!!! P. s. make sure you try the tamales

Excellent! In the mood for Mexican food? Try this one out. Looks like a little hole in the wall at the end of a strip mall, but don’t let that fool you. Went for a Friday night dinner with kids. Staff was very friendly, the food was good and the prices were very reasonable. I thought the salsa was great. I was served a tablespoon of guacamole with my meal and it was outstanding. Will return.

Good, fresh ingredients and super friendly staff with great service. The one time a got a margaritas here it was very watery and flavorless so I just never ordered another one. I love the food however and will keep coming back. Love the tacos Mexicanos!

It’s pretty good here. Everyone is always so friendly and the food has a great taste to it. I personally do not like the tortillas. I guess it is just personal preference. They just have a weird sour taste.

Decent Mexican food which isn’t saying much as its the same old tired and generic recipe of things wrapped in tortillas, chips and salsa, rice and beans. The margaritas here have a bright green color to them like Mountain Dew or Mad Dog 20⁄20 kiwi flavor and they don’t taste so great. The prices were on the higher side for a strip mall Mexican joint. I probably wouldn’t be motivated to return here but if you must have Mexican and are nearby it will do the trick.

The food here is wonderful, truly authentic and the Margaritas are very tasty and strong. Service is very friendly and is personally overseen by the owners. All food served is scratch made, using family recipes and prepared fresh daily. The guacamole dip is a must as are the«Authentic Mexican Tacos». Overall, we had a five star experience! You cannot go wrong with this one.

Some of the best fresh guacamole I’ve ever had! Staff is extremely friendly! Our server was formerly employed by another local Mexican place we frequented. She recognized us and provided exemplary service. This is not your typical diluted /generic Tex-Mex restaurant. The dining room is extremely small! Be prepared to wait once this place catches on!

If you live out this way and you love authentic Mexican food, you have no reason to avoid this place. They have top-notch tacos, especially the chorizo, and if you’re feeling adventurous they have fillings such as tripe and lengua. And soon they’ll be serving alcohol! Really, you have no excuse. Hit them up on Taco Tuesday.

We took a family of 6 to this restaurant for the first time after reading the reviews on Unilocal. The food was pretty good. The prices were reasonable. Be warned though the plates are scorching hot. My daughter burned her arm on one although she was warned by waitress the plate was hot. The salsa and cheese dip was very good. If I had one thing to let people know is don’t expect a place to accompany large parties. The restaurant is mostly booths that seat 4. I only saw 2 tables that could seat more than that. Kinda think of a Subway but slightly bigger. Very narrow restaurant. But, for 2 or 4 people it is perfect.

Had dinner tonight here with my family. My grandparents have known the owners for some time now, and it was really enjoyable. The food had great taste, the service was attentive and great. You can tell that this place is family run. It has a very homey, welcoming vibe. Altogether, it was a great experience. I definitely recommend anyone that enjoys Mexican food try this place!

Here’s the thing about Taqueria Garibaldi, for the money, you will simply not get a better meal. Especially for lunch, prices are around 6 or 7 bucks each for entrees. Are you kidding guys? I mean, you can barely get a meal at Mickey D’s for that price these days. FLAVORFULSALSA. As far as salsa’s and chips go, this was very good. Very sweet from tomatoes(i hope from tomatoes and not from sugar), could have used a bit more cilantro, but nonetheless good. LENGUA. First of all, to get this out of the way, getting beef tongue for a meal in Alabaster, AL is already quite an achievement. Secondly, the preparation was very good in salsa verde. It was my first time having mexican preparation of beef tongue and it was quite delicious. GREASYRICE. Rice was not the highlight for me, it was covered in some kind of oil/grease. AMBIANCEISMEH. I mean, not that I was expecting a lot from a strip mall joint in alabaster, but the layout is very odd. It’s just a long hallway with some tables basically, they could have done things to make it look a bit better. But then again, back to the first thing i said, you can’t be whining about ambiance too much when paying 7 bucks for a full meal. Overall, it’s a welcome addition to Alabaster for me. It’s probably nothing to write home about, but not a bad place to grab a casual and unique lunch.

This place is delicious. I got the Chili Relleno today for lunch and it was the best I’ve ever had. You wouldn’t think that a laid back casual face would have this good of food, but it does. Even though there are a ton of Mexican Restaurants in the area, this one is worth going to.
