Nicholas Day Spa has been wonderful! The spa and salon are so relaxing, the team makes you feel so welcome. I’ve had a smoothing treatment, highlights, and color treatments, and absolutely love it each time! Nick and the team carefully listened to my concerns about my unruly hair, and absolutely delivered a beautiful result. I have received so many compliments, and have to admit that for the first time in my life, I love my hair!

I have recently begun visiting this salon after getting tired of paying exorbitant prices at my previous salon. I am very happy with the services. The highlight and color services are spot on, no pun intended. They never make me feel rushed and are willing to accommodate even my last minute changes of mind, like adding on a quick eyelash tint, which is my new favorite inexpensive quick beauty fix. The staff are friendly and«yes» people. I have found a new great place.

My review is based upon my experience with the brow specialist, I have not utilized any of the spas other services. I went to Nicholas Day Spa a few weeks ago, I live in the area and have passed by curiously many times and decided to give them a try after looking at their service menu. I was excited for my visit with their«Brow Specialist» since I had been patiently letting my eyebrows grow out for about a month(which you ladies know is a grueling process) in order to have them reshaped and beautified! Upon entering I was warmly greeted and offered a beverage, I had a 1:15 appointment which I was a few minutes early to. While patiently waiting for 50 minutes I had a chance to look around and take in the salon. It was nice and bright, on the smaller side but nicely decorated. Unfortunately, most of my view was of one of the girls that was sweeping up the place. She was wearing a hot pink cut off shirt and daisey dukes. Needless to say I saw practically every bit of her while she was sweeping but she showed it all as she continued to bend over to dustpan up the hair. She did not seem as if she belonged and I found myself feeling uncomfortable(despite being in my early thirties)… Finally, I was called in to see the«specialist». She was one of the sweetest technicians that I have been to very easy to talk to with good conversation, she made me feel like a regular! Unfortunately she terrorized my brows!!! All of my hard work growing them out and she basically took them all off, she left me looking like a character from angry birds. All of my brows were removed with the exception of the utmost top layer, the arch was removed and they slanted upwards. I was in such shock I just paid and left. Three weeks later and after a trip to sephora I still have to pencil in my brow and wait until it grows in enough to be shaped.

I just went to get a shellac manicure today and it was good. I had shellac on my nails before so the nail technician wrapped my nails in order to get it off. Not all salons do that. The last one I went to had me put my whole hand in a bowl of acetone. That was awful. Anyway, the service was nice. The technician offered me tea while I was waiting. And the service took about an hour. My nails came out good. My only gripe is that the nail technician put too much lotion on my hands. Other than that, it was all good.

When I went there on my birthday, the massage was nice, but during the facial, the beautician got some sort of chemical in my eyes that stung and burned, so I had to spend 15 minutes at the sink trying to wash it out, so the visit, which was fairly pricy, wasn’t much of a birthday treat after all.
