New Image Hair Salon

The fact that this salon is so close to my house is a plus. The fact that the ladies that work here are true artists and professionals is a blessing!
I recently went from a very dark brown to a gorgeous honey/​dirty blonde. Carolyn was very dedicated and intuitive with my hair and kindly dedicated her entire day to this process. Debbie also was the sweetest most kind person to ever wash my hair and treated me like a daughter. As a Dominican woman who only let Dominican hair dressers touch my hair. these ladies will OFFICIALLY have my loyalty and business for years to come. Not to mention the price was very fair!

I have had great experiences at New Image hair salon. They are very customer oriented.
They color, cut, and style my hair well. My husband now goes there also to get his hair cut too. The owner is very customer oriented and if a «do over» was ever needed she would gladly step up to the plate. Their prices are very fair too and I would not hesitate to recommend them!

I am disappointed to hear the review by the person who was unhappy and would just like to say that I went to Caroline years ago and although its certainly not a fancy place, she did a good job. My daughter, who is 18 now, went to three different high-​end salons — one in Pelham — always coming out hysterical that they did a horrible job. One turned her almost blonde hair red and just didn’t listen to her at all. I dug up Caroline’s number and called her. It was the first time that someone actually heard what it was my daughter wanted. My daughter has been to her four times now and each time, she has come out smiling and my pocket is not as empty as it was with the others. Everyone has different experiences but I’d like to say that I always thought I wanted to walk into a fancy salon to feel like I was getting good service. Now I realize I just want someone to take care of my hair the way I want it. Caroline gets it.

Terrible experience – stylist left dye on way too long and gave me GRAY highlights. If I’d wanted that look, I would have just let my natural color grow in, free. Also she talked incessantly, in a loud nasal voice, and the salon was dingy and not very clean. Didn’t like the haircut either.
