Of course I’ve had better. I had 3 donuts. Real flakey. That might be the idea but I prefer more texture. Somebody else said they’re gluten free. It’s a donut. I’m fat. I’m not going here for health reasons. Taking gluten out of a donut is taking chocolate out of a candy bar. This place has been around a long time. It says 2016 on the calendar. It’s time to accept credit and debit cards. I can’t think of any reason a business these days wouldn’t. The meth tax in this town would more than pay for any charges to have a card swiper.

I went a long way to get here, but in the end, they’re just donuts. It’s good that they’re gluten free. I got corrected on nearly every one I selected; that wasn’t really necessary.

I’m not sure if the same people own the Spudnut Shop that started downtown Pekin on Court Street when I was a snot nosed high school student. But being from the south side I’ve had many glazed Spudnuts and they still taste the same. We’ve lived in Florida for 20 years and go back to visit just to buy a bag of Spudnut donuts.

These doughnuts are delicious! My husband went in at 7:30 am on a Saturday morning and had limited selection, he was told they would probably sell out by 8! They are very popular and very delicious, well worth getting up early!

These donuts are amazing! This is a small donut shop and they make the donuts fresh each day. If you get there at 10am. there may not be much selection left! The main thing I love about them is the fact that they are made with potato flour so they are gluten free! Happy me! We tried their original, plus a chocolate and vanilla cake donut. All were excellent! I’m so glad we stopped by and got there in time to snatch up the few that were left!
