This is my second CS100 Series spiral from Mylen(I purchased the first CS100 for my former house in 2000). Mylen makes a great product and their unique/attractive CS100 spindle attachment system is what separates them from all the others. Jill at Mylen is very knowledgeable & helpful. Delivery was on time. Photos attached.

I have a Mylen spiral staircase. It was already installed when I bought my NYC apartment 6 ½ years ago. There were a few«pins» missing that attached the railing to the steps. I contacted Mylen so I could purchase the replacement pins. I spoke to Jil at Mylen. She could not have been more helpful! Not only did she do her research to find the replacement pins. But she was able to replace them FORFREE. Besides that the Mylen staircase is great. The people there — if using Jil as an example — are absolutely top notch!!!

It is yet to be determined what type of product Mylen Stairs produces. I liked the front end sales person that handled my order, thought he was knowledgeable and mostly responsive [a delayed response a couple of times]. However, when I placed my order for the stairs, I specifically asked if I could have the stairs in a 4 – 5 week window, which they said yes, but worst case scenario would be 6 weeks. I scheduled all my other contractors based on that promise. The person that identified himself as the highest ranking person in the company except the owner is named Charles Hile. When I inquired about the delivery of the stairs 4 days prior to the worst case scenario date — I was told it would be another 11 days. Estimated 11 days. There is no consideration offered by the company because the explanation was simply that the original date given was just an estimate — nothing we should have counted on. My advice to you is, if you do decide to order stairs from this company, do so knowing that you should building in more than worst case scenario timing for delivery … pick a date worse than that. There was ZERO sense of responsibility for the significant cost the delay by Mylen caused me, the homeowner. Some of the cost could have been mitigated if someone from Mylen had exhibited any ownership of their failure to meet a deadline if they had called in week 4 and informed me that there was no way they would meet the 6 week– worst case scenario — delivery date. That action would have fallen under good customer service — something you cannot count on after they have your non-refundable 50% deposit.
