Pop Pop’s Mini Mart

So they have probably the best selection of d.i.y. coffee in the valley, Blueberry Cobler is the shiznit! Unfortunately, there seems to be some confusion about how much it costs?? I am a coffee fanatic to put it lightly so I have my travel mug… Now most places will actually charge you less for this since you’re not using their cup, usually a .99 refill, i.e. Turkey Hill, Joe’s Qwick Marts, Even Dunkin Donuts. This place is no different… depending on who’s working… My first 5 or 6 visits here for my 630am pre work coffee, I was charged 2.02 for my own cup, not a problem figured that’s what it cost here… until the owner/​manager was there one day, charges me .99 and explained to me that my cup is a refill, and «they shouldn’t have been charging you that much. So when I explained I have been coming everyday since I moved down the street and paid $ 2 for my refill instead of $ 1, essentially paying double all week, I would have thought that I’d get at least a free cup! But no, and when I came in the next day and explained to the girl who was charging me $ 2 again what the manager had said the day before, she called him over to verify and he now tells me that the price IS $ 2, but he’ll «let me go today «WHAT?#?! Que twilight zone music, I am in no way complaining about the cost of coffee here, but I’m not going to be charged double one day or half price one day (nobody ever decided what it is) if I charged a different amount for the same thing I’d be in the poor house! ! I just didn’t appreciate being made to feel like I was trying to get over or get something for half price when I was going on what the effing manager said!!! Screw this place!

Stopped in on our way out of town. First thing you notice is how clean it is.
You are welcomed by a nice staff.
What drew us in was they serve Nathans Famous. Nathan’s is my fav for French fries.
We ordered the hot dog combo. The food was fresh. I did not enjoy the hot dog as it was not the long skinny dog served in most Nathans. It was a fat spicy dog. The French fries however were great! The prices on par with other Nathans. If not cheaper.
Also picked up my lottery tickets.
