Reflex Gymnastics/Cheerleading Academy

I have been very happy with the 3 and 4 year old program. Mt daughters really love their class. The kids are constantly moving and the instructors are great keeping the children engaged. I am so happy we found this program.

Best gymnastics place! Great and friendly staff, super helpful! The staff genuinely cares about the parents and children! The cheer team is top notch, pushes them to their full potential while not forgetting they are kids. The gymnastics team is amazing as well! The coaches are all very experienced and run an amazing team! Definitely a perfect gym for children of all ages and levels!

Horrible Place! My daughter was on the competitive gymnastics team at Reflex. The owner does not know how to run a business and communicate with her customers; therefore, when confronted by us she kicked my 6 year old daughter off the team! When I told her she can’t do this to my 6 year old who did absolutely nothing to her she said «I can do anything I want and you can’t do anything about it.» My husband and I were shocked by her narcissism and ego! We have never (even our professional careers) come across someone with such a sense of entitlement and «God» complex. In addition, the facilities are dirty and there are ants in every square inch of the lobby/​parents wait room. It is just filthy. Please, please, please consider your options for a gym… you want your child to have the most positive experience possible and it will not happen here!

My daughter really wanted to try gymnastics so I signed her up for 2 weeks of summer camp here in 2010. Worst camp experience of all the camps she did in 2010. She reported the staff really didn’t interact much with the kids; they did just a little gymnastics every day. Towards the end of the first week, when I picked her up she was hobbling after having hurt her ankle. She was given NO type of aid, not even ice and not even told to elevate. The staff just dismissed it when she said she hurt herself. Poor kid was in pain all afternoon. I should have been called, but was not. When I told the front desk person the next day, she could care less and did not even make any apologies. Unbelievable for a fitness place to not care about injuries.
If I had not already signed up and paid for another week, I would not have taken her back. But we had so back she went a couple weeks later. This time, she got an eye infection, probably from their dirty equipment. One morning she woke up with her eye puffed up so big she couldn’t open it. Went to her doc and it was a bacterial infection. Took a few days for her eye to return to normal. Again I told the front desk staff and again they could care less.
I own a children’s business myself and would have done things so much differently.
Never going back for camp. There are other gyms we can use.

After having two daughters in cheer here for a total of 8 years, I can tell you that the people at Reflex run a top notch operation. The kids work hard and it is a tough program, but it is worth the time and expense to see how they grow as athletes and also in self esteem. The coaches truly care about the kids and give quite a bit of personal time to make sure each kid is given the training and support to succeed. It has not all been easy and it takes a ton of commitment for the kids as well as parents but it is worth it.
