Popeye’s

Love that chicken at Popeye’s! I don’t like spicy food, so thiis is for the mild chicken. It is great when it is freshly cooked, as it was today.
Love the corn on the cob and the Cole slaw. The other sides are a bit weird for me.
Good!

The last visit was the last straw. When I arrived home open the box the chicken was luke warm and dried up on the bone. The chicken taste like it was left from 2 days ago and being sold for another day .The drive thru will most definitely forget something you ordered, they loved to give your bag quickly and for you to move on but check your bag one to make sure you get what you pay for, second check to see if your food looks edible

Nothing but horrible things to say about this location. Rarely do you get hot and fresh food when you order and service takes forever. On our last «to go» visit we were suppose to get a shrimp poboy and a butterfly shrimp platter along with a chicken breast. The butterfly shrimp tasted old and had a couple of popcorn shrimp to fill in (I guess they didn’t want to drop fresh shrimp) The poboy ended up being a fish dinner instead (not what we ordered and that too was cold) The chicken breast was lukewarm. If you visit this location, make sure to check your food for freshness, or better yet ask for fresh food. I love Popeyes in general. This has to be this worse and most incompetent Popeyes I’ve ever visited.

Fast drive thru, great service, always hot and fresh chicken. Not shady on the condiments. Only problem is that spicy chicken is not always spicy.

The 2 stars is for the service. Rude drive thru delivery chick. Basically told us she put what we asked for in the bag, several times. She’s a liar. Dude, it was 2 pm and no wait, it’s not like you were in a hurry to get us out of the drive thru window to get to the next customer. And we were polite in asking also, so it was not us.
Food was great though, I can’t really complain about fast food. But this place may need new servers.

I have been to this location several times. Long wait times on every visit. Last time I waited 20 minutes before finally getting the order. For a fast food place this is unacceptable. The food itself was fine, no complaints there.

We don’t indulge in Popeye’s as much as we used to (the Tuesday .99 special was our standard meal). Sometimes the fried chicken is too «light» at this location. Golden & Crispy is a mandate for fried chicken! That said, the freshness of the chicken here is a never an issue, always hot as if it just came out the fryer. In agreement, the red beans and rice are yum tum!
