We love La Mad but this location is poorly ran. Very disappointed in the service and quality of food here. We love visiting the Sugar land and Webster/Clear Lake locations. Maybe need to take a look at the management. If it is independently owned then the owners need more involvement perhaps. It would be a shame for it to close because details have been overlooked.

I love this place! They have such a variety of soups, salads, sandwiches and desserts. The staff is always very welcoming and greets you promptly. They have one cook named Kamron who does a great job with accommodating customized requests. I normally like spinach on my sandwiches instead or spinach. They always get this right for me. The chicken parisien sandwich is my favorite. When paired with the tomato soup it makes both a savory and filling combo. I also am very impressed with the fast service. I have never waited more than 6 – 10 minutes for my food. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for something fast but still of good quality.

Loved that it opened at 6:30am. A big plus. I got the crêpe Romanoff and my husband got the French country breakfast. My crêpe was good and I tasted his potato galette which I really liked. Here’s the rub. The food all came out not hot. Warm, not hot. They just fall a little short of being really good. The bread and jam at the drink station was really inspired. But, the bread didn’t seem baked there. It seemed like it came from Kroger. I like the concept but the execution needs a little work.

I don’t know if it’s this location or if I just happened to come on a bad night, either way, I was very disappointed. I absolutely love the Webster location. It’s one of my favorite lunch spots. The food is good and the staff is professional and courteous. In Pearland, maybe it’s better during the day. I will not go back to this location. It literally left a bad taste in my mouth.

Waited 30 minutes for my Birthday dinner and when it arrived it was ice cold. Should have known when we showed up and all the tables weren’t bussed. Even the take out food was cold. We won’t be back.

This location is pretty typical of any other La Madeleine. My reason for 2 stars is the fact that I think their food has gone downhill over the years. As a kid, I used to really like La Madeleine. Today, I don’t think it tastes the same. The pastas they offer are way to greasy and almost fast food like. I’m not even sure where the French influence is… They are overly rich and not of good quality. My favorite food they serve is the tomato soup and the chicken friand. I also think the complimentary bread is stale sometimes. The jam they provide is still fantastic!

I love everything about LaMadeline. There are some good healthy choices as well as high carb treats if you care to indulge! They have bite sized treats for those of us who cannot resist the temptation.

This is an interesting place. Prices are reasonable. Wait time is a little long. The food is good(we’ve been here four times). However, the staff has NO personality and most could care less if you are there. Also most food arrives table side Luke warm trending on cold. A better training process needs to be in place.

Heathy choices at La Madeline. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I ordered the Cranberry and Pecan Wild Field Salad with balsamic marinated chicken. Will be back !!!

This is a pay at the cash register and they bring your order place. You must visit the fountain area to get your drink, silverware, napkins, and bread. The boeuf borginion was delicious. Beef, carrots, peas, delicious pearl onions in a wonderful sauce served over mash potatoes. Sometimes you don’t get quite enough sauce. The mini fruit tart was great. Good pie crust, some kind of creamy pie filling topped with a selection of fruit. Great!

It’s a newer and much nicer location than, say… the Rice Village loc which is meh. I live within in walking distance so it’s a nice place to sit and grab a coffee. The food is hit or miss; Tomato Basil Soup = Complete miss, just salty but no other flavour Potato Galette = Definite Hit, delish hash-browns with herbs Turkey Pesto Sandwich = Hard miss, dry nasty Bread, and a minuscule portion of dry Turkey Vanilla Napoleon = Hit(Vanilla NOT Strawberry which is super sour and an unnecessary addition). See what I mean? You’re confused, I’m certainly confused. The food comes out fast(last visit was a busy Sunday afternoon). I’ll come back for the Potato Galette, AKA fancy hash-browns, but I’m not sure if I’ll bother trying anything else for fear of wasting money on bleh food.

I always see a older Asian lady bussing tables like there’s no tomorrow. She don’t play, I respect that. The food is fine. I like the mocha cappuccino and mango iced tea. Bread is in abundance which is amazing and dangerous. Carbs for life!

I often do not say amazing things about a reastraunt or store, but La Madeline is absoulutely lovely. The Gorgeous and chic enterrior make dining experience charming and quant. The food is delicious and I would recomend the country potato soup. Or the turkey and bre roasted sandwich. The dessert is absoulutely superb as well. I LOVE the bluberry tart and the fruit tart. And again, I love the enterrior! Dont even get me started on the french lessons in the restrooms! There breakfast is great too. I love the danish like french toast with fresh fruit and homeade whip cream! Over all La Madeline is my new favorite reastraunt!

This was totally inexcusable. Sunday am 10 am they were out of three different main menu items. Manager did offer to get us something else but we opted to get a refund and find somewhere else to eat.

I like this location because it’s not as loud and chaotic as the other locations. Food comes out quick too! Steve, the manager, is sooo nice! He’s def a hands on type of manager that makes sure customers are happy. The employees seem happy as well. So if you need a healthy, fulfilling meal, definitely come here!

The service was so bad I had to request to speak to the manager and get a refund. I came here with my daughter on a beautiful shopping day. When we entered we were greeted by the cashier but after that it went downhill for many reasons: — ordered the duet sandwich and soup. Politely asked«may I have my soup before the sandwich?» No it confuses the cooks! Not sure why since the cashier fixes the soups and cooks prep my sandwich. Most locations do this and they have honored it here before. Plus her tone was not customer friendly. — bread and jelly station look unkept. — Few clean tables can be found. They wait it seems until an entire section is dirty before bussing the area. It is off putting with so many dirty tables. You can only maybe pick one or two tables for a whole restaurant. — I was sitting in area that gave me a perfect view of the cashier station. I can see my food is done. She takes it from under the warming lamps and places it on the counter. The food is just sitting there… no runners nothing… I go up and ask how much longer until it’s ready? Cashiers response it will be ready shortly. Thinking that maybe something my daughter ordered is not ready I go sit. Mind you my warm toasted sandwich is cooling they do not add anything to the tray but are still not delivering it!!! At this point I’m pissed. I tell her I need to speak to the manager. I express all my concerns and he is very cordial but he has been in the back unaware that his staff is incompetent. He gave me a refund and two gift cards, which was very nice; however I would have preferred to have received my meal with friendly service. I try not to complain unless service is atrocious and this Lamadeline takes the cake. I have been to this location 3 times. Skip it go to their Meyerland, Rice Village, Baybrook location instead. They may not look as modern but they know how to treat customers.

When we got here there was a line of about 6 people ahead of us. Only one register was open. The four people in front of us were a family visiting the restaurant for the first time. They spent quite a bit of time at the register asking questions, while trying to decide what to order. There were several workers wandering around behind the counter and two workers sitting at a table taking a break. I don’t know why the manager didn’t have someone open the other register. After we finally got to order and received our food, I noticed another line building. It got up to 9 people and still only one register was open. The food was good as usual, but once again the service was below par. My lunch partner ordered her food before I ordered mine and her order was less complicated, but her food came about 5 minutes later than mine. I will continue to come here because I like the food and love the desserts, but the manager sure needs to take a look at the way service works.

Dear god this is the craziest La Madeleine location I have been to yet. I stopped in on a Sunday late afternoon to grab a lunch to go, and it was packed. The line was almost out the door, but that wasn’t even the worst part. After placing my order, it was easily a thirty minute wait for my food — the Cordon Bleu pasta, a good dish but in no way worth a thirty-plus minute wait. In addition, I had to keep checking on my food, as no waiter manning the to-go station checked in with the handful of people waiting on their to-go orders. The kitchen seemed to be hustling, but everyone seemed to suffer the same fate of waiting an extremely long time for food. I don’t know if they need to streamline their service or what, but the downtown La Madeleine never seemed to have this problem, even on the occasions when I stopped in and it was very busy. Their food is good, kind of a Panera with a French twist, for those who have never eaten there. The sandwiches and salads are all good, and the breakfast is delicious. Definitely try the Cordon Bleu pasta, very flavorful and rich without being greasy or heavy-feeling. I recommend their food, but if you do decide to visit the Pearland location, be forewarned that you may be in for a rather extreme wait.

Consistently poor customer service. Employees will stand around and talk or act as if they are too busy to greet customers who are waiting at the register to order food. The menu is what you would expect for sub par food. Go elsewhere for better service and where your money is worth the quality. The only reason I gave it any stars is because of the BlackBerry cream cheese croissant, but even that didn’t make up for things today. The BlackBerry cream cheese croissant was not made correctly today, and there was no cream cheese but they kept advertising it as such… I bit in and it was just almond filling and jam

Location 5 stars(easy to get to, great parking access) Size and décor 5 stars(this place is bright, spacious, huge, stroller friendly and you can watch through the patisserie rabbit hole all day and see the amazing yummies being made) Food 3.5(meh it wasn’t great, I thought that the food would be hotter than other la Madeleine’s, instead of waiting in line with hot food to check out, they bring it to you — therefore it should be hot, not Luke warm!!) Staff 2(unfriendly, unhelpful, miserable bunch of folk, one person working the till and all others standing round watching you wait to ask for a box) Ugh. I’m mixed. Best La Mad I’ve been to so far, but the staff let it down!
