iShine Express Car Wash and Detail

They neglected to properly vacuum my cloth interior before shampooing it causing the water to pool and stain my seat. They soaked my upholstery so bad and did not extract the water at all so that in the morning there was water dripping from my glass, mirror and plastic trim. Basically it was raining in my car! My car was soggy, and smelled bad because of all the water. I cleaned the stain myself and took it back to show them how gross the white towel got when I wiped the seat with it. They offered to fix it and they finally extracted the water properly. They took the extra time to make sure the job was done like it should have been in the first place. However, (and this is the worst part -) they did not apologize or even acknowledge that they had done something wrong. Instead they said «I don’t know maybe cause of the weather yesterday…» What does that even mean? The simple fact that I paid over $ 100 to have my car cleaned and ended up having to clean it myself should have warranted at least a partial refund. Never mind that I had to take another 2 hours out of my day to take it back to have it redone. It’s really terrible that you pay so much for a service, the service people do the bare minimum, then they get offended when you try to insist on getting what you paid for. Why is it wrong to expect a business to take the time and do the job right and to care about the work that they do? Why is it looked at as doing «extra» to make sure a job is done 100%? Does no one care about the customer anymore? Where’s the integrity?

I like the price of the «unlimited monthly washes». It’s only $ 20 a month. They take the money out of my debit account every month so I don’t have to worry about it. I come about twice a week, the vacuums are free and there usually isn’t a long line.
However, you get what you pay for. Half of the employees look like they just woke up outta bed and the other half look like ex-​cons. Customer service or appearance does not matter to this business.
The employees don’t smile and slam large brushes against your car before it enters the wash. They are so aggressive with the brushes it makes me second guess the service that is being provided.
I guess I can’t ask for much. It’s only a car washing service.

It was a very great experience at this car wash the staff was so friendly the management team is excellent. It’s a staff name Robert who is great with the customers he really makes our day wen we come through. Thanks ishine for the hard work and great hospitality…

Have the unlimited monthly washes and it pays for itself. Great service from staff and a nice quick wash. Gave 4 stars only because can’t use wash after hours.

By far the best car wash in the Friendswood/​Pearland area. I am a car wash fanatic and have never been happier with their membership program. The management is beyond helpful and the staff are friendly and do a great job. With three kids sometimes I elect for them to do the detail and my car literally feels & smells like new every time. A+ service

Good customer service, very quick and did a great job. After all the rain, my truck was filthy. I got a wash and shampoo for 60 bucks. I live far from her but if I’m in the area I’ll come back.

Pretty basic machine wash. I didn’t get the detail wash because I was in a hurry. Some of the vacuums are weak on the suction side so you have to find one that’s pretty strong. Not sure if I’ll come back but maybe if I have more time I’ll try the full detail.

FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. Ordered a Super Clean for $ 39.99 because there was a «3^rd row» they charged an additional $ 10.00. OK fine with that. After I’m waiting they come in and state it would be an additional $ 10.00 because the dog hair was excessive. They were NOT busy at all 1 car prior to my arrival and 3 after. After waiting over an hour, still significant dog hair found. I took my lint roller and gathered most of it yet they want an additional $ 10.00. NO mention of dog hair additional money.

Good customer service before we drove through the regular car wash. The truck still had grime and a dirty windshield when we finished the wash… Would not recommend it… Maybe the detail is much better.

I was impressed. Nice people and great service. Clean car. I like being able to go whenever I want and use vacuum even if I need a wash. Simplicity.

I signed up for the month to month car wash for $ 20 and I really like having access to the vacuums for no extra charge. They put an EZ rage type thing on the car so they know who has a membership, I guess. I DON’T like that every time I come to get my car washed, the EZ Tag type thing is pointless because you still have to wait on someone to come out to the machine to make he arm go up to let you through. So really, what’s the point in having the tag? I came through today and the tunnels were not working but they said it would start again in 10 mins. I waited and waited… Two guys came to my window, tapped on it, and said they won’t be working any time soon. The 2^nd guy with him was at my back window and was picking his teeth while looking in my back window! Are you kidding me?! I expected better from a car wash like this!

Great customer service. They did a great job with the wash and cleaning. They every removed our child seats and cleaned under them and put them back. Very nice staff. And their lobby is nice clean and provides free wifi and coffee and snacks

Horrible place. Brought our newer car in for detail and wash and they broke off piece of dash. They «found» the piece and told us to get a quote and wrote up an incident report but Jorge, the «manager» didn’t like the quote so insists on fixing our car himself– we are taking them to small claims because they are not authorized dealers or mechanics. Take your vehicle somewhere else!!!

Great experience. Took my car in for interior detail and car wash. Great customer service, prices and results. Will definitely be going back. They have a VIP program that sounds great too. Since the results were so good I’ll probably sign up for that on my next visit.

I’m very picky and I Love this car wash! Always do a great job and pretty much a full quicky car detail for $ 40ish and in 30 minutes. The lobby is really nice, not just cheap chairs and cheesy décor, but actually real clean furniture and decorations. It’s also very clean and the coffee station is something i would actually drink from and do.
This is not your typical filthy slum car wash. The staff is very professional and pull your car up to the door when they are finished. The woman at the front desk has been the same one everytime I’ve been in and is very nice and courteous.
So glad they are close to home!

Glad that this type of car wash is available in the neighborhood. I went in with my truck and I’m very happy with the results. With the weather we’ve had as of late, the wash was much needed. After getting their top of the line service, I also had them do the hand wax. They did not disappoint. After seeing the first review of someone getting drunk and puking in their Benz, I’m guessing they wanted a brand new interior.
Either way, I signed up for their unlimited car wash service.

Cannot begin to express how unhappy we are with the detail job done on our Mercedes this morning, what a joke.
Let’s just say girls night got out of hand last night and my beloved friend got sick in my car on the way home. After getting her home safely, I stopped at the car wash and cleaned what I could. We showed up first thing this morning to have the rest cleaned by professionals.
When they first «presented» us our car I thought I was on a hidden camera show. It looked like the inside had hardly been touched. There was vomit on the head rest that would have come off with a damp paper towel but apparently not with a $ 100 detail job. They hadn’t even vacuumed the back seat, there was plenty of evidence of other corners they cut.
When I expressed my dissatisfaction, the owner took my car back for round 2. I held out hope but it was quickly shattered when they brought us our car for a second time.
The owner kept saying he was so busy but if we came back he would «take care of us». Apparently he was too busy to ensure we got what we paid for. We spent two hours and $ 100 dollars for a half a$$ job and horrid service.
Word of advice to others, run away!
To the cocky owner, my time is far more valuable than yours and your mentality just might be the death of your business.
