I splurged on a present to myself which included the oxygen facial and a one-​hour massage. I’ve only had one facial before at another spa and LOVED the results so I decided to go beyond a basic one this time. And I’ve had massages at HH that put me to sleep. I looked forward to this appointment for months, and instead I just left underwhelmed and upset I spent nearly $ 300.
The oxygen facial didn’t give me any noticeable results. At one point, the technician used this machine with a tip that started off cold, and I thought surely that would act as some kind of exfoliant, but less than halfway through it started to just feel like a dry q-​tip being run over my face. Maybe she didn’t do it right — what do I know? All I know is my skin looked exactly the same before and after. There was no softness/​dewiness/​glow. I could have gotten the same results washing my face with my Cetaphil. They even gave me a bottle of this oxygen liquid (?) which I applied for days after, but after seeing no results and feeling like I was just putting water on my face, I stopped using it.
The girl who did my massage was obviously in a hurry to get out of there. I felt rushed through the whole thing, which made complete sense when, afterward as I was checking out in the lobby she came downstairs with a backpack and left. Apparently I was her last appointment that couldn’t get over quickly enough. It wasn’t that she didn’t give me a full hour, but there was no stage setting. It wasn’t warm and welcoming like previous visits. The room wasn’t dark, she didn’t ask me about my preferences as far as pressure, she didn’t ask if there was a specific area she should focus on. The entire experience was just blah.
The lessons I learned were that the more expensive facial isn’t better just because it costs more (although you could see how that would be a reasonable expectation), and if I’m going to get a massage in the future I will be their first appointment of the day.
I hate to write this place off because I have had great experiences here, so I probably will return someday. I was just massively disappointed by the entirety of the visit and by the fact that had I known that was what I was going to receive I would have spent that money on something more important, as I don’t have a lot of it.

Never have to wait long for my appointment! The prices for hair color is the best I’ve seen and the staff is really attentive. I get my hair done here because they don’t force me to use bleach and are very knowledgeable about what they do. I also get massages here as well and I always feel tons better than when I arrived, these guys know what they’re doing I would highly recommend them.

Hired Hands is an amazing full-​service spa and salon tucked away in Pearland. I found out about it on the recommendation of a friend, and booked one of their signature facials. Highly recommended!
Not only is the spa itself adorable, with a reception area filled with great products and décor, but since it is actually a redesigned Victorian-​style home, all the rooms are kept separate, which lends a nice sense of privacy to being there. The facial itself was excellent, probably the best I have ever had. Melissa, my esthetician, really takes her time, learns a lot about your skin, and tailors the facial perfectly to your needs. It is an incredibly relaxing experience, and the calm in the building helps lend to your overall experience. I can definitely say that my skin has improved since I started going. I have been back for several more facials since, and plan to try out more of their services in the near future.
I can’t speak to any of the other services at this point — but if you want to take some time for yourself, just to relax and unwind, consider booking a facial with Melissa.

I had THE BEST massage ever today. My spouse and I were very pleased and will come back again. From the receptionist to the massage therapist, they were professional and had great customer service. The facility has trendy little stuff for sale as well as various health and beauty products. I will be back for sure.

I can only review the hair color and cut services, but I highly recommend Anna for anyone with dark hair who wants to try a fun color. I went from black to purple and loved it. The ambiance in the salon is great, everyone, including the front desk staff, was very polite and accommodating.
The prices are also great. I don’t mind driving out of the loop since the price is significantly lower and the results still great.

I went to get my hair cut there for the first time. I have been for spa treatments and they were fine. The stylist cut my hair just as I wanted but when it came to the high lights it was a mess. She kept refusing to make it darker. She said it looked great so bleached but I have dark hair and wanted it more subtle. She spent another hour trying to make it dark for me but it still looked like I had zebra stripes. I was so upset! Not going back.

When I come home to Texas to visit my mom she always brings me here for a massage or facial.
I usually love this place but, over the
Holidays i came in for my first prenatal massage, being four months pregnant. They even called us to change our massage time to make sure I got the one prenatal masseuse they have.
To my surprise, their prenatal masseuse was a large man, but I didn’t want to assume he couldn’t understand a pregnant woman’s needs so I went along.
The massage was painful. He dug his elbows into my back way too hard. He focused on one knot in my shoulders. And didn’t touch my legs or feet, which I now know is just about the most important part of a prenatal massage. I had to tell him to massage me not so hard twice. I was just looking forward to the massage ending.
I think he applied way too much pressure on my stomach because after leaving I puked.
I wasn’t going to leave a review since I usually love this place and have a great experience, but I think it’s important to pay extra attention to the needs of a woman carrying a child inside her and if you claim someone is a prenatal masseuse, then they need to know what they’re doing.
I think this man would make an excellent deep tissue masseuse, but I don’t think he should be recommended for prenatal massages.

Came here for a couples massage and two spa pedicures for my boyfriend and I, also a shellac mani for me. Got a call about an hour before saying they couldn’t do two spa pedicures and my boyfriend could switch to a gentleman’s facial. The massage was great! Very relaxing and just the right amount of pressure. The mani and pedi was mediocre. The nail lady was slow and her work was sloppy. one of my nails there is a bubble under the polish and a few others have small blemishes on them. My boyfriend was able to switch the facial to a back scrub. He really enjoyed it and wants to do it again. Overall it was a good experience. However I would not go back for a manicure or pedicure.

Husband and I had a date day here for a couples massage. Super cute hidden jewel! Both of our therapists were awesome and made us so comfortable and relaxed. The only negative is that there is a jacuzzi soak offered but it’s a bath tub with a few jets. That you find in most peoples homes. Obviously-​I wouldn’t expect much if you get this. It was kind of awkward to take a «bath» at an unknown place but perhaps if they offered a more top of the line jacuzzi or shower it would be very nice before a massage. But with all of that said I still rate a 5 because of the overall experience was exceptional.

I love Hired Hands! Every time I go in to get a massage, everyone is sooo friendly and helpful! Excellent customer service. I went in for my first massage a few months ago and had Ken and would never go to anyone else after. He has the perfect balance between deep tissue and relaxation. I am always able to fall asleep and I can never do that with anyone else. He really cares about his clients and it shows in his work. You won’t be disappointed if you choose Ken for your massage. Went here on my bday for a 1 ½ hour aromatherapy massage and a facial. Found this place due to Unilocal reviews and so happy I did. I booked my appointment the day before through their online booking online (very convenient). Everyone there was super nice. The massage therapist I had was great… his name was Eric. Anya did my facial and she provided me with tons of education on proper skin care and some of treatments/​products i would benefit from. Over all I had a great experience and I will definitely be visiting again.

Had a great experience here with my mom as a Christmas gift. We had the signature massage and express pedicure. Massage was amazing, very relaxing and well worth the price. The express pedicure was good as well. All the staff we encountered were professional and friendly. The location is a converted house, which is unique.

My husband and I visited for our first wedding anniversary. Honestly, our review is mixed. The massages by Kimmie and April were great (over too soon!). The jacuzzi tub, however, was too small and kind of awkward for two with no safety rails or anything. Our lunch — supposed to be salads from Gringos — never got ordered and they said no one was available to go get them. :S. We ended up with a few apple slices and some not-​so-​fresh cheese cubes and saltines. Then we had spa pedicures with Ann and Candy (not sure who was who since they didn’t introduce themselves). My husband’s lady was friendly and pleasant. Mine was cranky — kept jabbing tools into my toes, not smiling and looking out the window like she was bored. That was not the best ending. If I had it to do over, I’d book a two-​hour massage for each of us instead and skip the rest.
