This was my first time at a buddist temple and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The Buddha statue outside is beautiful and it was imported from Vietnam. My primary reason for visiting the temple was to experience one of their worship sessions. It was a lot of peaceful chanting and at the end the monk told us about the Lotus Sutra, which was actually a beautiful sutra. The service was mostly in Vietnamese, but he spoke English from time to time. I enjoyed the temple and the wonderful sermon. They offer free lunch after the service. I couldn’t stay for lunch this time, but may do it in the future. I will definitely attend a meditation class whenever they offer it!
