Delta Air Lines

I usually fly @deltaairlines all the time but I had the worst experience ever today. Flying from dc to Jackson, ms, I had to go through security twice and stood in line nearly 45 two times to get through security only because the check bag attendant suggested that I carry a plastic wand that I bought my nephew on the plans with me when I could have just checked it inside on my suitcase like I tried to in the first time.
They also forced me to open a fed ex account and pay out of pocket again just so I could have it shipped to my house.
I then had to run like hell just to get to my terminal and not get left, ended up dropping my phone and cracking the screen. Then, I arrived at my terminal ten minutes before takeoff and the attendant There gave me shit and didn’t want to let me board the plane.
I had to literally beg for her to let me on, which she eventually did, but I shouldn’t have had to deal with situation after situation after situation. I understand there are rules however discrepancies due to things on their behalf should be an exception.
I usually don’t write reviews at all it this experience was very displeasing and disappointing.
This definitely added a sour taste to what started as an awesome weekend.
