This is seriously one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had! You can tell that they use quality products. I’ve dined in and have had delivery, both pleasant experiences. The wait staff are very friendly and precise. The hostess is very kind, always a big smile on her face and makes you feel very welcome! Glad I live so close :)

I used to NOT like Sorrento’s pizza. There was always too much oregano in the sauce and I’m not a fan of too much oregano. But recently I tried the pizza again and it has changed. Not so much oregano and pretty damned good! So my family has now started ordering from here more often again. But there is still one problem … the mozzarella sticks. They aren’t good. They are way too big and we don’t like the breading. I like my mozz sticks to be small and light, easy to dip and the breading or batter(depending on how they are coated) should be soft and light too. So now when we are ordering, if we want mozz sticks, we usually order from somewhere else instead. We would probably always go with Sorrento’s if they changed their sticks.

This was the last meal I had while visiting New York, and I regret I didn’t eat here sooner! They have a variety of different pies, and I would recommend the Chicken Caesar pizza — very delicious! If I make it back this way, I’ll definitely be visiting Sorrento’s again!

When our regular pizza place closed down out of the blue(Ray’s — what happened to you??) my husband took it upon himself to find another place. Pearl River is close, but still not as convenient as one might like for pizza. We got the pizza as takeout, which I will say played a role in its overall taste(however, that’s our fault — not Sorrento’s!). First off, I would just like to say how much I appreciate that the lack of grease on this pizza. This was the first time in a long time where I didn’t have to pat my pizza down with a paper towel. That alone bumps Sorrento up in my book. The sauce was good… there was a seasoning or something that gave it a little tang. I wasn’t a HUGE fan of whatever it was, but my husband really seemed to like it. They had a good ratio of sauce to toppings and overall it was an above average slice. If it were closer, I could see this becoming our standby, but unless my husband wants to make the trek, not sure if I’m totally convinced. Recommend if it’s close by though!

After paying $ 6 for a specialty slice and a small fountain drink, I asked for a refill. After asking, I was looked at like I have 8 heads. How cheap do you have to be to not give a refill to customers who are already over paying? Horrible customer service.
