I have had nothing but great service from them and they always a solution to every issue I have. Beital’s prices are great and if issues do come up they always find a solution.

I have purchased fish from many different sources. Their selection is the best in the area. There is no one else that has a selection that comes close to Beitals. I see they have a few bad reviews but I say this is from inexperienced hobbyist who don’t quarantine their fish before introducing them into their display tanks. Remember the complainers are the loudest and I’m sure if they didn’t have happy customers they wouldn’t be in business for so long. I’ve previously purchased 5 large Rainbowfish which is almost unheard of in the hobby as it is always small Rainbowfish that you find in local fish stores and you have to wait until they grow to enjoy their beauty. These were already pretty big and showed lovely colors. I’m going back today to purchase some more because my husband is treating me for our 10 year anniversary. I’m planning on getting some panda Corydoras and maybe a yoyo loach to add to the 2 I have at home. I have a quarantine tank waiting at home for the fish. I keep discus and Rainbowfish. All my fish are healthy but if you don’t quarantine your fish no matter where you get your fish you may end up with an epidemic on your hands if you are unlucky. I always make sure I treat for parasites and if I see any other issues I treat for bacterial infections if needed. People need to understand that fish get stressed and if you don’t do your best to minimize the stress all your fish will get sick. I will be keeping them in the quarantine tank for at least 6 weeks. Once done into my display tank they go. I also purchase a beautiful 65 gallon aquarium setup. Very sturdy and beautiful compared to what I have seen at other places. I’ve posted pics of my display tank from Beitals.

Be very careful who you hire for your expensive hobby. In dealing with the owner Craig, I thought was a dream and what a nightmare it became, he talks a good game but has no knowledge of tank maintenance nor does the staff. It is just a money making venture for them. Whatever needs you have check the WEB you will find it at least 50% less. The cleaning of my tank from the staff was terrible with supposed years of experience they do not even know how to test the water conditions correctly. I strongly suggest you look elsewhere Happy reefing

****SCAMALERT****THEWORSTEXPERIENCEEVER!!! I have been in the aquatics hobby for 20+ years. I have never had such a terrible experience in my life. I have spent thousands of dollar at Beital’s Aquariums. I was publicly disrespected and down talked by Craig the owner after catching him in several lies. Even his own employees admit to knowing the SCAMS he runs. He sells sick«grey market» fish that no other aquariums want. That’s of course when he is not paying some thug to smuggling in his«personally acquired livestock» WHAT A JOKE. Every saltwater fish is infested with ICK; a terrible parasite that kills fish. How do I know this? First I, m a Medical Doctor educated in Human Biology. Second my friend is the head Marine Biologist at the San Diego Aquarium. DON’T WASTEYOURTIMEWITHTHISSCAMARTIST!!! Everyone will soon get beat by Beitals Aquariums. I feel bad for the fish! LOL

The owner is a complete douche — rude and unfriendly. Walked in one day with my 6 year old son to get a fish for our aquarium and the guy refused to sell it us «because he was closing down» — however he allowed us to «look».
