The food here is acceptable. What you’d expect from any average Panda Express. It’s pretty homogenous stuff from location to location. The reason I’m taking the time to review this particular location is that it is particularly dirty and gross. I’ve been here several times and it always seems like no one wants to deal with cleaning the dining room. The tables, the chairs, the booths, the soda machine, the napkins/cutlery/soda lids area, it’s all pretty disgusting most of the time. Makes me not want to stay there to eat. Bummer.

Do not order the walnut shrimp it is a rip off. 7 pieces they say for $ 1.50. They used to give more but they actually give 6. Everything else is ok.

I’m never disappointed when I have dinner at panda express in Pearl city it’s all is the top quality and you can never find the usual greasiness send the overpowering MSG that a lot of Chinese restaurants use I really enjoy eating here if I could I probably eat here every other day this location specifically I seem to notice the food is a lot fresher go for half fun half chow mein and skip the White rice it’ll do your body good

I will never patron this Panda Express again, to think about it… I’m actually close to not buying Panda Express at all. They are too pricey and the portions seem to get smaller and smaller. Before, it was only $ 1 more for the honey walnut shrimp or steamed ginger fish, now it’s a $ 1.50 more… and they don’t give more than they did before. In regards to this particular location in Pearl City, there is very little that is more of a turn off than having an employee who is making your plate be so stingy. I ordered the honey walnut shrimp as one of my choices, the wok was pretty much empty, only enough for one last order. Can you believe the girl who was putting my plate together put all but two pieces in my plate. She left the last two pieces in the wok!!! There was hardly any left to give to begin with. That’s such a turn off! Especially since they upped the price on it! When I took the plate home, even my boyfriend was like, «What the hell!?» The plate looked so mangy… LOL! It’s really hard to patron a place like this. Maybe management should teach their employees to use better judgment and give the rest of what’s in the wok if there’s hardly any left and they need to make more anyway… not be stingy and leave two pieces behind. What a joke!!! I won’t be going back!

This is probably gonna be the shortest review I’ve ever written but BEWARE. If you have 3 or more people in your party, there are only 2 places to sit, both which are very uncomfortable. There’s a «bar type seating» near the entrance only fits 3 people. Only a few inches away from the door. The rest of the seating are 2 seaters and people are literally breathing or having there butts in your face while you eat. Lastly only one table that seats about 4 people, that’s in the tea bar area. The food is okay, just like any other pandas all to me are the same, I love the orange chicken and the chow fun. Beijing beef and honey walnut shrimp is always Delish. However just the seating arrangement sucks.

I don’t if Panda decided to step up their customer service game, but I’ve been noticing a real increase in superior customer service. Not at just this locations, but others as well. The employees always make sure to check up on you if you are waiting for a dish to be made, and even offer u a free kiddie cup beverage for waiting. All I can say is, keep up the awesome work Panda Express!

I wanted to try the new Japanese place, but turns out it doesn’t open until Sept 5th or so. So I opted for Panda Express instead. It reminds me of a Chun Wah Kam, but less options. We had the teriyaki chicken and mushroom chicken with chow fun and white rice plus a medium drink. Total cost about $ 11.00. The person helping us forgot to put the teriyaki sauce on the chicken, but luckily we were dining in, so we were able to get a side sauce. Three stars. I am comparing Panda Express to to Chun Wah Kam becasue they’re so similar. They have 3 stars because they give so much less food for the price, although we were able to share the plate.

It’s a Panda Express, what more can I say? As others have noted, so far I’ve had very consistent food quality from the different Panda locations. This location was the same. The food was what I expected. I always order chow fun, orange chicken, honey walnut shrimp and beef broccoli. I usually order too much and save the rest as leftovers. From time to time, they have specials that are an additional charge to your bowl/plate fee. I’ve tried the steamed fish, which is also OK. This specific location has a lot of seating inside and outside. The parking lot is small and has small spaces but the turnover is pretty fast. We always find parking here under 10 minutes.

We order online. Our meal is almost always ready when we get there, except when we turn up early. They’ve left off items maybe once or twice but it was no big deal for us. Fast, friendly service. Prices are good!

I gotta say that all Panda Express is very consistent. Even though this is review is for Pearl City location, all Panda Express offers good food and good service all around. My usual is chow fun, orange chicken, beef broccoli, and shrimp walnut. As you walk to counter area, they always ask you if you want to sample. But I always get the same. This Panda Express located behind Walmart in Pearl City in the same area as Starbucks. Parking is available but their stalls are small.

I made a take out order online for fried rice & orange chicken w/bacon. The orange chicken w/bacon is new & I wanted to try it cuz I love bacon. I picked up my food which was a la carte & the portion size was small for the price & to top it off they gave me regular orange chicken. I was very disappointed cuz the only reason I got this was to try it with bacon. If that was the case then I would’ve got something different. I sent an email to complain since I ordered it online but I got no response. The only reason why I gave them 2 stars rather than 1 star was cuz the staff was nice & restaurant was neat & clean. I dunno if I would go back.

One of our favorite Panda locations. The food has always been hot and fresh. Tables and chairs clean. Counter girls are quick and efficient but could be friendlier. Always feel like we are eating healthy here — although maybe not as healthy as home cooked. Love their noodles because they are not greasy. Overall they serve very good food!

I love their outdoor seating and ample amount of parking outside. Place is very clean, kind of empty but there is definitely a line. Everything was in stock(as far as food), warm, and yummy. They should bring out more condiments and tableware like the one in Waipio… Customer service was excellent. Very laid back and friendly

I had perfect timing when I went here. A fresh batch of chow fun AND orange chicken were just about to come out. My mom and I split a two item combo for lunch: half chow fun half veggies with orange chicken and mushroom chicken. I kinda wish we had just gotten orange chicken as it was so amazingly good. We ate it all before I knew it. The mushroom chicken was good too though the chicken in the sauce was a little on the salty side.

10.23.13. Terrible parking situation. Although the lot is supposed to be two-way…ya there’s a lot of cars that kind of «own» the lot, ifyaknowwhatimean. It’s usually the weekends that are crowded, as this lot is for a number of take out/dine in food places. Sometimes traffic will move pretty quickly if people just pick up food. Panda Express occupies the largest space in this little food complex. There is both indoor and outdoor seating where you can enjoy your food. Very clean & I believe there are bathrooms. So, while I was standing in line, this lady behind me decided to hoover right behind my shoulder. Um, get out of my bubble please?! Some people have no concept of space or consideration… Clearly, I was already a little irritated… but the employees here were were so friendly & cheered up when they started heaping food into my plate. I have to applaud the staff here for being VERY generous with portions – I def had two meals! They were even super generous with the starches, even when I asked for half & half. They were however a little slowww… but I guess that could be attributed to the decent line & the fact that they had to keep making new batches of entrees – if anything, the food was fresh and delish as usual! I know I’ll def be back again. Hopefully no rude line-followers next time. Unilocal 365 Challenge: #295/365

This is the first Panda I’ve been excited about. Firstly, they finally offer brown rice as an option. Secondly, feature a few wok dishes under 250 calories. And, thirdly, the kicker for me was seeing the refrigerator wall stocked with freshly cut veggies. I settled on the Samurai surf and turf with brown fried rice because it sort of looked a little healthier than the other fried dishes. Since they add another $ 1.25 for this entrée, I was looking forward to something good. Needless to say, it wasn’t worth the premium flavor-wise. I didn’t savor anything special with the cubed Angus steak or the small shrimps with green beans. I was disappointed that they added cubed potatoes in the mix. What’s «Chinese gourmet» about that? Wok fried flavor was also missing. Disappointed by my selections, I sampled bots off my partners two-entrée plate. Of the orange chicken and wok-fried string bean with chicken breast, my favorite was the latter. Definitely, this had the wok-fried appeal unlike my own«wok fried» dish. The healthier options here make me a fan. So, in spite of my initial disappointment, I’d go back.

Predicable Chinese American fast food. This rating is not for the quality of its food compared to other Chinese restaurants. It’s based on comparing it with other fast food establishments. Panda Express has a predictable menu. When I’m on the go, I know what I’ll get when I drop in. Compared to other fast food places, you can at least craft your choices for a healthy meal – beef broccoli, zucchini stir-fry, and brown rice. Don’t get their new surf and turf stir fry. They add potatoes to lower their costs which means less beef and shrimp.

It’s overcooked Chinese fast food that are in the warmers too long. At least the Chow Mein looked freshly cooked but I got the last bits of Beijing Beef and Chicken Veggie. I was looking for Sweet Sour Pork but that was not available. I would have ordered one of their newer dishes but those cost extra. I’d rather eat with chopsticks but their standard default utensil is a fork. I went looking for a chopstick by the drink machine which was where it was last time but none today. So I asked the counter girl if I could get a pair of chopsticks. She said it was in the bag. I got home and opened the pkg and guess what? NOCHOPSTICKS! Minus points. It’s a moot thing since I have chopsticks at home but…

This Panda Express is conveniently located next to Sam’s Club gas station in Pearl City. I like coming to this location for dinner because it’s always busy so I know the food is fresh. The parking lot can be a bit hectic since it’s small and there’s a bunch of eating places around there. This particular Panda has a bunch of tables if you want to eat there and they do a pretty good job about keeping the place clean. All the Panda Express restauratns recently changed up their menu and replaced their mandarin chicken with a grilled teriyaki chicken — MUSTTRYIT! The mandarin chicken was already a good choice, but this one is even better. =)

I actually like this Panda. Ever since I found out I’m allergic to msg’s my love affair with chinese food has been put on hold. I was devasted. But then I remember. Panda doesn’t use msgs YAY! So that means I can continue my love affair for fake chinese food once again. My fiancée and I randomly tried this panda and I was pleasantly surprised. It’s tucked away by walmart in a mini shopping plaza. The parking was a bit slim but not too difficult to find. If you can’t find parking within the shopping plaza theres the walmart parking lot right next to the plaza. When we walked in I was pleasantly surprised! The décor was different than most pandas. There was paper lanterns on the ceiling and high tables with stools all around the place. I really liked it. Then we actually got to the food. They had potstickers(YUM), ginger steamed fish and garlic chicken! It seemed that this panda offered more entrée’s than the regular pandas. The staff wasn’t the nicest but i was so excited about having chinese food again I didn’t care! For now I love this panada. I will be back and so should you!
