Tina Carroll – BHHS Georgia Properties

In all of my years in dealing with buying and selling homes, I would have to say that this agent was the worse excuse for a real estate agent as I have ever seen! First of all, we saw a home that we were interested in on Zillow and when we asked to see it, she didn’t know that it was even listed on MLS. And it is a mile from her home! We didn’t even get to view the home until the eventual buyers had seen it FOUR times. Once we saw and loved it and wanted to buy it, she then informed us that there had been an «offer» on it. But, rather than contact the listing agent and make another offer for the buyer to consider, she gave up and said that we could continue to search for other homes. I had to make her call the other agent and start the process of making an offer on it, since now I know the buyer had not even accepted the first offer. From the time we looked at the home, until the time the seller signed the contract, 36 hours went by without Tina writing a contract on the house or giving the listing agent a verbal offer. Once she finally got around to submitting an offer, the seller, NOT KNOWING THAT WE WERE WANTING TO MAKE AN OFFER, had already signed the first offer. When I told the listing agent, she told me that the seller preferred our offer over the first offer, but that his hands were tied since he had already accepted the first offer. We lost out on our dream home because of Tina’s incompetence, negligence and laziness. Needless to say, we fired her immediately after this. Be warned, stay away from this agent!!!
