During a short trip to Peachtree, we wanted to grab some takeout. I searched Unilocal and found that Thai Spice was rated high and the price was reasonable. We ordered a Tofu Pad Thai and a Curry Chicken. There was plenty of parking at the shopping center that the restaurant is located in. When we went to pick up our order, the restaurant was packed, so we knew it was a popular place for Thai food. The food was packed neatly in the to go bag and tasted delicious! The Pad Thai had a lot of vegetables and came with a lot of sauce. Sometimes Pad Thai can be a little dry, but this was not a problem at Thai Spice. The red curry sauce was good too. It was pretty sweet and mild. Next time I think I’ll order it as medium spicy. All in all, I really enjoyed the food from Thai Spice. The staff was super friendly and talkative when we picked up the order.

This place is hit or miss. The last time I ate lunch here with my family it was great. Today we stopped in because we were in the area and food was not good at all. The pineapple fried rice and basil fried rice tasted bland. No flavor or seasoning. The Thai tea was excellent and place looked nice though.

Beautiful interior, perfect date spot! The staff is always super friendly… Even after moving out of town years ago they still remember me and are so sweet. The food is all wonderful. They have mild Thai spices(easy for the general public, which is expected in a suburb restaurant). I have been dining at Thai Spice since high school and make it a point to eat here on my visits home! Try the Larb chicken, it is delicious.

I really like this place. The food is awesome. I’ve tried the panang curry and the pad tai chicken. Also the appetizers such as the coconut soup or, their calamari is really very good. This place also Has a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended.

My boyfriend and I went here for dinner on a Wednesday night and it was a beautiful place to eat! The wait was about 5 minutes and the staff was pretty friendly, if a little difficult to understand at times. The atmosphere is quiet and they keep the lights dimmed which makes for a softer and more elegant experience in my opinion. However, we sat at a small booth and the seats were very far apart so it was difficult to talk to each other without the whole restaurant hearing. We ended up sitting on the edge of our seats, which may sound thrilling but was actually a little uncomfortable. I ordered the Masaman Curry with beef, which comes with carrots, potatoes, and avocado cooked in coconut milk curry, and it was honestly the BEST masaman curry I have had at a local Thai place! It was so good that I finished the whole dish, rice included. This place also appeals to vegan/vegetarian diners, which is a definite plus! Will eat here again.

I’ve gone here several times in the past 2 years. They’re supposedly the best Thai place we have down in the PTC area. I’m not a fan of the prices vs the quantity of food though. I literally feel like I never get enough food. The food is also not flavored up to par as other Thai places I’ve tried — and believe me I’ve tried too many. But it’s still very popular down here so give it a try and see for yourself!

Thai Spice does good Thai food, as anyone should expect. But decent performance on their main objective doesn’t necessarily justify the financial premium they put on their menu items, or the existence of other poorly executed menu items. I recommend people eat Thai food here, but I also recommend that they don’t order anything else. The menu at this place is a little confused, and the actual restaurant feels a touch pretentious. The Pad Thai is tasty, as are the various curries, and the spring rolls; but what bums me out the most is this restaurants’ idea of «Hot and Sour Soup». Likewise, the Calamari is a similarly poor interpretation. I don’t know why, but every time I order Pad Thai, or a Curry, I always order the Hot and Sour soup hoping for the best, and always expecting that the soup will have changed to meet my expectations. I always hope the simple soup will live up to its name, and it never does. What it should be called is «Sour Mushroom Soup», because virtually every element of the traditional Chinese soup is completely and utterly lost or ingnored. It’s not even a Thai take on the traditional Chinese soup. What you get when you order Thai Spices’ version of Hot and Sour Soup; is a very acidic, heavily citrus based soup, with the domineering taste of earthy mushrooms. This soup is then served in a completely heat less concoction of ingredients, that appear to been readily available, rather than decidedly chosen. There is nothing«hot» about it. It’s a sour soup with tons of mushrooms. Thai Spice is a decent restaurant that does Thai food well, just bear in in mind that it really only excels at the 40%-50% authentic Thai items that are on its menu. Almost everything else is a waste of time.

The place serves reasonably good Thai food, and is also reasonably priced. Like many Thai restaurants, there’s too much on the menu and a lot isn’t truly Thai. Bar does a decent job at most mixed drinks and the service is generally good. The waitress knew when NOT to come by as well as was unobtrusive when she did service the table. One of the few restaurants in PTC that is pleasant to sit in and where you can actually carry on a quiet conversation. While they’re welcome, I’m sure, there have never been any unruly or screaming kids. A good place for a couple or foursome to have a pleasant dinner and talk.

Meh. I guess for the area it is considered good by some people? The basil roll consisted of a very large quantity of cold noodles, a basil leaf and a small piece of shrimp and tasted bland. The calamari was okay, albeit breaded and fried. We ordered larb, which our waitress forgot. The Thai iced tea and coffee are very very very sweet. The spicy green curry we took to go, and it wasn’t at all spicy. Again, the sweet flavor seemed most dominant. The place is clean and nice looking though, and our waitress was very friendly. I simply wouldn’t want to go back based on the food experience.

We count this as one of our favorite restaurants and have never been unhappy with our experience. Food is wonderful, service is consistently excellent and(I hesitate to mention this) rarely do we have wait. Now don’t all of y’all start showing up(LOL) Seriously, we always enjoy eating here and unreservedly recommend it!

I posted 2 pics of our meals and 1 of our cocktail. The Hot Garlic Shrimp and Panang Curry were delicious. I wasn’t crazy about the spring rolls however my friend enjoyed them! The atmosphere was classy and the prices were very reasonable! The host and server were nice and attentive.

I only have one complaint about this place and it’s that everything is spicy, but that’s because I’m a wimp :) seriously though-I love this place! The martinis are outstanding and the food is delicious. The coconut soup and the spring rolls are absolutely amazing. If you ever want Thai food, don’t go anywhere else!

Pretty good! One of my friend’s suggested Thai Spice and my mom and I decided to give it a try! The location is nestled in the shopping center and it was so hard for us to find it. We started with the Coconut Soup with chicken. I’m not a coconut fan, and neither is my mom, but the coconut flavor is so slight despite the milky texture and its battled by the pleasantly sour taste. It was complex and delicious! I had the Spicy Basil Fried Rice with chicken and my mom had the Thai Fried Rice with chicken. Mine was amazing!!! Tons of flavor, with a spice that sits on the back of your tongue sparingly. Be sure to have some water! I cleaned my plate; it was absolutely delicious! Had a taste of my mom’s and it didn’t have the depth of flavor as my dish; the tomatoes really threw me off. Will I be back? Absolutely, but for takeout; while the service was okay, we only saw out waitress about 3 times. No refills on our drinks were offered so I’m not sure if they were free or not haha.

Beautiful interior and good location. Food has always been fantastic! My favorite item is the coconut soup. It is a bit pricey compared to other Thai restaurants I’ve been to; however, the location and atmosphere are worth the added expense. Food quality and presentation are outstanding. I’ve never had to wait or felt crowded. Service was adequate. I personally prefer a more casual setting but I enjoy this restaurant for a date night.
